  1. this may be a silly question but do i need to have the front cover decked with the block.. i noticed all those pic had the front cover attatched
  2. too bad there isnt a way to get the awesome cam sound without the low end loss..XD
  3. looks like by build bill just went down by about 120$.. thanx guys
  4. so im wonder what cam would be best for the setup i have.. New non jet valve head HD springs over sized SS valves 14b turbo TD05h Turbine Weisco 8-1 forged pistons .030 1g maf 2.5 inch dp and exhaust everything else engine wise is new stock fuel system is in good working order I have a wide band and aftermarket boost gauge already im thinking that that 274 would be fine for what i have but your guys experience would be nice.. also anything i have left out in my rebuild that i may need
  5. if they have one i owe you guys...
  6. as title states i have slop in my steering.. i figured out that it was the coupler for the steering column so my question is... where can i get a new one.. or how can it be fixed if the part can not be fixed
  7. Yes i do have an aem wideband already installed as well as an aftermarket boost gauge. and im not sure of the amount of boost i will run on the 14b.. i have yet to actually run the 14b on my car since my stock 12a went out the day before i pulled the motor. bad turbo had nothing to do with rebuilding though..lol. and what reason do you have for not liking the 1g. im not trying to criticize you.. just wanna know your reason why. i like facts and proven theories..XD
  8. so as it sits now i am in the process of rebuilding my engine and im curious to know what i may expect out of this motor and still be well in the safe range. list of current rebuild items are: new m28 head casting 1mm oversized valves schnider springs cam, rockers and spring seats where reused. everything else new (stock) weisco 8-1 forged pistons .030 over new rings felpro upper and lower gasket set arp rod bolts new head bolts all new berings in the block (keeping balance shafts) all timing components new 14b turbo 2.5 inche DP and exhaust 1g mass so anywho im hoping that this will be good for a safe 250ish hp. is this a realistic goal for the mods listed is there anything i may have left out that is important to do. i would really like to hear from those that are actually running 250ish+ hp. i value your experience and your knowledge.. thanx in advance, cory
  9. i own an 89 rx7 and that my friend looks nothing like the Stock T2 top mount.. nor could it be use in place of the stock top mount. the pipe routing and thickness of the pipe are not the same in the least..
  10. hmmm... i have an alternator if you want one of those too charity..XD
