  1. Okay so after a long winter of installing and tuning I have finally got my Quest on the road. Nothing is perfect yet though, on a cold start up it takes 3 tries before it starts right. The first try it dies right out, the second it starts for a couple seconds then dies, and the 3rd usually fires right up and goes into the warm up process. Would this be my cranking pulsewidths, or ASE? Ive tried tuning both but it still seems to stay the same. It used to do this plus after I was done driving it around it would restart but I was able to get that worked out because it seemed at full operating temp the ASE was too low so I bumped that up and so far it will stop and restart no problem but from a cold start it seems to be having some issues. Has any body experienced this at all or know whats going on here? I appreciate any insight anybody can give on the situation. Thanks Ethan
  2. Hey guys I need the center console for an 86 Chrysler conquest. Lol I leaned on mine a little to hard and a section right next to the ebrake completely snapped off Its the console with the two removable dins, one is the tray and the other is the controls for the mirrors. I dont need the mirror controls or tray but will take them if needed. Thanks
  3. Hey guys thanks for all the replies, I actually got it fixed just a couple hours ago. I had AEM Eugo selected in the config page and it said non linear so I just switched to the option that said Linear AEM and BAM!! it matched perfectly. So thanks for all the help again guys.
  4. Ok cool thanks Ill try all that. I know that I have the AEM Eugo chosen in the config settings but obviously thats not working lol
  5. Hey guys, Im having a problem getting my AFRs to match on the guage and in megatune. Have any of you had this issue? I need to find out how to get them both to match or at least get really close. I am using an AEM Eugo, If you guys need any other info that I havent listed on here just let me know and Ill get it right over to you. Thanks
  6. I use windows 7 also, I have no issues but I use megatune. At first I had some issues but it ended up being that I had the wrong baude rate or whatever its called and I had to get the driver and then it worked perfect. Not sure is the same goes for tuner studio
  7. Scott- I just looked in my e-mail and for some reason it sent the last e-mail to spam so I just saw it ill give that a try, sorry about that man. Phinko- Yes my dizzy is converted so I believe I am fuel and ignition.
  8. Im working on getting these files hosted but for the time being is there anyone else who has any experience with this issue?
  9. Yeah sorry I should have specified, I bought the car with the FIP setup and then I sent it out to scott to get the MS1 Extra upgrade so that I could control timing and eliminate the vacuum advance. Also, since I bought the car with the injectors already in I wasnt completely sure about the size but scott mentioned that FIP always came with 75lbs/hr. You can e-mail me at e3mand@aol.com if thats easier, I check my e-mail all the time. Thanks for the help man
  10. Okay so this build (86 MPI Conquest) has been a work in progress for a while but I got my self set up with MS1 Extra from FIP and ive been having trouble getting the car to start It cranks and gives one good sputter and then wont go any further, it just shuts off. It was recomended that I play with the required fuel because it seemed a bit low (6.6) so I started slowly adjusting it by raising it by small intervals and it was all the same until I got to 8.5 but even then it only idled for about 5 seconds but it was a horrible idle. Almost, sounded like it was firing on one cylinder. Everything else seems to be in fine order its getting spark the fuel pressure seems good, its at 40psi when its cranking. At this point im at a loss and cannot figure this thing out. Has anybody experienced anything like this before or know of anybody who has? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Im trying to attach a tune and datalog file along with this but it keeps just saying that there is an error and im not permitted to upload that kind of file (.msq and .xls) anybody have any idea how to get around that. Sorry if I left out any crucial details, just let me know if I did and ill get it up here. THANKS
  11. So ive been trying to post it up but it wont let me, it is saying that I am no permitted to upload that kind of fall. it is a .msq
  12. I dont have the tune on this comp, but idk if you still might have it. Its the one you sent me that was titled newethan.msq otherwise ill get it posted soon. Gonna maybe try again and see if I can get a short datalog
  13. Yeah well now my car wont start lol it just sounds like one cylinder is firing and the turbo actually blew smoke out of the inlet on the last attempt to get it started. Anybody experience anything like this when installing a wideband?
  14. I thought there was no idle screw with MPI.
  15. So ive recently been through a ton of s*** trying to get my quest to run, that I just bought. First I bought it and the guy said it would need a new tune to run right soooo: I sent my stuff out to Scott and got everything upgraded (he did an awsome job, and he super helpful!), well I got everything rewired correctly, installed a wideband, and had to switch to a different model tach adapter. Well, before I got the wideband in, to test the wiring out on the new FIP controller I tried starting her up and she did but just had a really low idle. Decided to get the wideband in before worrying about it so after installing the wideband I tried starting at and at first it wouldnt start. I looked at the wideband and it wasnt even getting power so I looked were the previous owner had the power wire coming up the column wired to and turns out he sent it to a fuse on the fuse panel (which had blown) just for a temp. fix, replaced the fuse and the car then began to try to run but would only stay running for a second or two then die, i tried several times and a couple of the times it sounded like it was only firing 1 cylinder, and then on the final attempt smoke came out of the filter on my turbo inlet. Also, wen I installed the wideband, i completely disconnected the o2. Is that kosher or am I supposed to keep that hooked up. Also I tried to take a datalog during all of this but for some reason when I went to look for it, its no where to be found. No im some what concerened about even trying to start it again before I have an idea of what could be going on here.
