Wire Tuck!

Recommended Posts

well i dont know if this is the right place but,

Since last sunddays fathers day car show i entered. I started to do a full wire tuck. Its bein a slow go with my back. This is what i have so far.

pulled the fenders off and unplugged everything. Then my friend pushed the harness back and i pulled it out the farthest hole back on the upper rail. did the same thing on both sides

I understand if you got mucho cashola already in your pipes but if not you should use this oppurtunity to convert to an evo front mount and rotate the TB. Might also go alittle more booya with the turbo.

The best wire tuck I've seen on a G54B was a custom lowered Might Max on airbags. It was the NA engine with a Weber carb, but he went to great lengths to hide all the wiring and vacuum lines. The engine looked like it was just floating in the engine bay. I think the pics were on MightyD50.com, but that website was recently hacked.

well i kind fold the problem. Car with not start unless you unhook the injectors. Turn it over for 30sec til it starts. then plug the injectors back in and it stays running. But at 2000 rpm's. if you unplug the isc it will idil fine, but you hit the gas and it die's and will not restart until you unhook the injectors again.

So i put the whole front end back on the car. Just finishing up putting the grill back on and its starts raining. No big deal right? WELL i go to put the windows up and they wont go up !!!!!!!! WT........

CONQUEST-3

Technology i ran for 3 years like that. the only real change is the harness is on the outside now. i never had i problem running them like that before

Nah, the high idle and super rich condition is a bad CTS or connection. It's grounded out somewhere I bet. It's either that or a bad mass air sensor, but if you can drive it like that without any major hickups or stuttering it's mos def the CTS or it's wire.

sounds like what mine did...it would rev up to 2000 once you got it started, then, once it hit the first tick on the temp gauge, the idle would drop to normal, and everything would be fine.

It was the CTS.

cts ? is that the same as the ISC? And the only thing i can come up with is i went to manual fan set-up. could that have anything to do with it. Maybe the ecu doest no what the temp is anymore.

the CTS is a brass thing in the intake. It has two prongs on it at a right angle from each other...it sits right side up and down near the number 1 & 2 runner

And, yes...that could have something to do with it...could've rid the wires that go to it by accident :confused0024:
