mrvwbug
Will these do??? Or can someone make a good solid recommendation on what they have and happy with the tires they recently purchased. http://www.amazon.com/Nitto-Neo-Gen-All-Season-Tire/dp/B004QL6PW6/ref=pd_sim_sbs_auto_5
TopDawg_43
Nitto has always made a good tire. I had a set of Nitto Invo on my G35. The only knock on Nitto is they can be pricey. I've been running Kuhmo on my Quest for years now, mostly because I hardly ever drive it. The right tire for you will depend mostly on how you drive. IMO, on the street, all tires perform 95% the same.
kidjc
Did a pretty through response, hit "post" like many times before... it just sits there "saving" assume it's lost as so many times before on other posts. Sorry, may try again.
kidjc
Gonna go w/ the short version this time, see if it'll post? Past several years I've been partial to Toyo, & Nitto. Do you want/need an "All Season," or a "Summer Tire?" I've run for the most part the last number of years & been Really Happy w/: Toyo Proxes T1R for Ultimate Summer, & Toyo Proxes 4, for "all season. Don't wanna lose this, I'd be glad to go in depth like before, if you wish to talk. GL

mrvwbug
Sorry, I should have put more info. These would be summer tires only. Two what size(s) can I do and not do. I'm under the impression I can do a 195-225 (60) or (50) 15 (5-bolt) original rims? Edited June 28, 2013 by mrvwbug

It seems to depend on the particular tread pattern and gets worse if the springs or old or if the car is lowered.

mrvwbug
my flatty has 225 50 15 yoko es 100 I have ES 100 yokohma's on my care now, but not this size. Do you have the stock rims on your flatty? I found these tires to be a bit on the noisy side, but still a very good tire. Mine ware much smaller than the size you'd posted.
