Selling my 1987 Conquest Tsi. Red with cloth interior five speed stick. Interior in excellent shape. Motor tore down to the block pistons removed etc. Would only need timing set and gaskets to get running again. Exhaust missing tires shot. Frame rails solid no rust. Only rust on the drivers floor very very small like 2inches by 8 inch spot along outside. Body solid. Have all parts bagged and tagged. Not parting out due to I cannot ship parts and don't want garage tore up with parts everywhere. Car is a steal at $500.00 bucks this weekend only. I also have about 300 dollars in new front suspension parts that go with it and the service manuals from the factory. Located 30 minutes west of Chicago. Will need to be towed. Clear title. Well motor almost ready to come out. Only one broken bolt taking intercooler off. Factory Service Manuals are a god send. Now to clean engine compartment and leave it red or paint it black? Funny how you find stuff when rebuilding a car..hundreds and hundreds of bee honeycombs everywhere..lol

Still looking for a stock radio that works not worried about tape deck but that would be a plus.

Started the rebuild process today on my 1987 Conquest Tsi. I have had the car for two years but no time or money but have the time so going to dive in. New to this site. Going to pull the motor this week for rebuild. Interior only needs cleaning and body just a repaint and air dam. Will post some pics of build up in next day or so.
