Has this car been sold....

As an older person who still "lives in the fast lane", I have to give Honda big credit for getting young people on a budget into the car culture...Most of the "my car is faster than yours" are pretty young and inexperienced...but at least they are getting the bug, from my point of view. Show them a few tuning tips, share knowledge...become an elder statesman...Car people are passionate, they love their car too...maybe they will listen and keep learning...if they don't...oh well... Our family sticks to the track...lose your license too fast on the street. Ain't worth it(most of the time! I have a driveway full of hot little 80's hatches and mid engine stuff, turbo and supercharged...fun to drive, very fast (with the right driver), the heck with what others might say...

yes the voltmeter dosnt work. I will have the car in the garage on tuesday to tear into it. thanks guys. im going to try the ignition switch hint.

I have a strange issue with my 88 turbo. The lights on the dash along with the headlights all flicker when any kind of draw is put on the electrical system. I have been searching for a bad ground or a corroded connection in the car and have yet to find anything. The lights in the car just about shut off if i put the blower fan on high. Is there a weak link in these cars that i could check? This problem is effecting everything electrical in the car and im sure its hurting the performance. Maybe the fuel pump is losing pressure because of the lack of voltage to push the fuel. Also the amp gauge on the gauge cluster does not work. Any input would be great or if anyone has had simular problems. Now remember this is effecting EVERYTHING in the car. All the lights the power windows etc... Thanks guys

Sold my Ford Dually and now do not need to sell this car...I'm very glad to be able to keep it.

Got to look under the car when we changed the oil. The underneath is extremely clean. The frame rails are in great shape. I can get some photos if the rain ever quits...

For Sale - 1986 Starion - 5 Speed 68,000 miles Good Stuff: widebody, black leather interior 9.5 out of 10. Interior pics as soon as the rain quits! All electronics work just fine...New Goodyear Eagles on stock rims, fresh PA inspection, no rust, no door dings. Doors open and close like a new car.(healthy hinges) Drives nice and tight, beautiful highway car. Very quiet, almost NO road noise inside. Sunhoof and hatch have no leaks. Stock floor mats. I've had zero problems with this car. Transmission is excellent. Car has never been modified. 80% origional. Has a msd coil and an quiet aftermarket cat back. Bad Stuff - engine issues, sounds like a lifter tap, turbo seals - intake plumbing has no oil residue in it, smokes on start up , not while driving. The Ugly - air dam cracked, oxidation on roof and back hatch , center console around the radio was removed before I got it. Stock radio still there, steering controls still work with it. R-titled in 1992 I found this car, had to have it. I absolutely love it and the comments I get on it, but I really, really need an winter car and so I have it up for sale.
