Plymouthquest1524
Theres is a vacuum line on the OVCP going to the wastegate. Where would that go if I was replacing the intercooler piping?
Frenchi934
thats the boost reference for the wastegate. it really just needs to go from the wastegate to anywhere on the charge piping near (but before) the throttle body. Most aftermarket hard pipe kits have included a vacuum nipple for its attachment.
Plymouthquest1524
Thanks that helped me a bunch. Turns out my universal hardpipe kit does not have such a nipple included, nor does it have anywhere on the pipes to put it. I'm probably gonna return it anyway. Whats a good kit to buy for the I/C piping? I got mine off of ebay but it doesn't fit right at all. Plus I got sent an intercooler thats smaller than stock, but its a straight through though. not sure if I'm gonna keep it.
