  1. I loved the ending of the video too! Thought to myself "he hit it on the nose". I've been working/driving starquests since I was 15. Which is coming up on 11 years!! At that time everybody was into Hondas, big body kits, and wings. Here I come in my Durban Maroon Conquest and everybody was like "what is that thing". Now people think they are "bad".... I've always thought they were "bad"!!
  2. I do too! LOL Maybe she can make it on the calender next year.
  3. So I worked on Goldie-Locks tonight and got the new section of exhaust tacked together. Gonna start tomorrow night tig welding it all together. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m144/conquestguy/IMG_0056.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m144/conquestguy/IMG_0057.jpg
  4. Here are some pics on the progress of Goldie-Locks. My brother working on the brakes. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m144/conquestguy/IMG_0026.jpg My brother's quest with Goldie-Locks http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m144/conquestguy/IMG_0050.jpg Had a short shifter from another car, so we installed it. Had to add an extension to it to get the Hurst shifter knob to go on. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m144/conquestguy/IMG_0040.jpg I've started working on the exhaust. Had an existing 3" laying around with a HKS muffler attached to it. I'm having to make a section to go from the downpipe to the existing exhaust. My cousin had some 3" stainless laying around, so he donated it to the cause. From the downpipe http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m144/conquestguy/IMG_0051.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m144/conquestguy/IMG_0052.jpg Had to weld a flange on to the existing pipe. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m144/conquestguy/IMG_0053.jpg
  5. It's high temp engine paint. Old hot rodders would paint their motors a brighter color to make it easy to work on at night.

  7. We go after the leaves change cause it's less crowded.
  8. That's not good but we always welcome all makes and models. Whats up with the quest?
  9. Yea we trying to get one setup for the fall, after the leaves change. We wanting to make a weekend road-trip out of it. Held one last year had about 12 cars, not all starquests. I'm talking with John of Garagezero and Joseph with Southrnfresh, if everything works out this could be huge!
  10. We've only got a few... . When we get all the Mt. run stuff ironed out you'll have to come up a little early to checkem' out.
  11. I'll let you know when we come up with somthing. Gotta get my dad back on his feet. (just had knee surgery) Yea it just had one front. It was wrecked on the driver side, and when they replaced the wheel they put a 7" front wheel. So we sent the one to a guy off of the forums and some cash and we got two front SHPs. And this is were they went. My dad's flatty! http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m144/conquestguy/IMG_2280.jpg
  12. Yea, we all need to have a meet and put some names with faces. Me, my brother (aka carton30643), and my Dad have been talking about having a fall mountain run.
  13. Here is the donor car the motor came out of. http://i615.photobucket.com/albums/tt240/carton30643/iPhonePics186.jpg http://i615.photobucket.com/albums/tt240/carton30643/iPhonePics185.jpg http://i615.photobucket.com/albums/tt240/carton30643/iPhonePics188.jpg
