Mike_StarionTSI
So i got the Red LC-1 Wideband Controller kit from Innovative http://www.innovatem...roducts/lc1.phpwith the black metal gauge pod from GlowShift. (the pod is a PITA, no instructions and comes disassembled. FYI, boost gauges might not fit this pod)http://www.glowshift...l-Dash-Pod.aspx Lovin it http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a93/tonito1961/Snapbucket/2AD834EA.jpghttp://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a93/tonito1961/Snapbucket/767DCC5F.jpg
dmyers151
Looks pretty good, might be hard to see without taking your eyes off the road though. I put mine up on the gauge hood like this:http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4143/4786537794_b7ff84292f_b.jpg
Mike_StarionTSI
Its not something Im going to be constantly monitoring. Its for reference sake. hopefully doing the boost gauge tomorrow in my dash.
BC_99
very nice, I decided to utilize the ashtray for my wideband guage pod, I gotta think Im the only one with this idea, lol. http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt93/BC_99/fiji/bW1jMS9EQ0lNL0NBTUVSQS9TU1BYMDA2My5qcGc.jpg BC_99
Mike_StarionTSI
Nice! I like that a lot. But eh, too late lol. Oh and I drove it out of work (installed it on my lunch break today lol) now that its night, and I wouldn't have it anywhere else. It'sthe brightest gauge so up high it will distract me from the road. But where it's at now, it's a glance away, and bam! Right there in your face lol. You'd have to see it in person to understand. RonnieJ
Looks good! Ive had a few of the DBs and my Quest came with that one as well. I kinda want to do the wideband in the cluster and the boost in the radio area.
Mike_StarionTSI
I was going to do that, but the pod wouldnt allow the boost gauge to go in properly. The fitting for the vacuum line was in the way and wouldn't go all the way in. And I didn't want to hack up the pod.
dmyers151
I'm constantly eyeing mine, so I wanted to mount it where I could see it at all times. BC, I've considered trying something with the ash tray door. I just ended up making a panel to cover the hole where the ash tray used to be, that's where I mount my GPS now. BC_99
yeah, I wish I had cocked it a bit to angle towards the driverside a bit, but i can still see it at a glance. I am happy with it....for now... BC_99

pc85
Did you think about pillar mounts? That's where I had my Innovate W/B mounted, no issues and I can see it anytime.http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/ab51/pc85dr/85%20Revived/IMG_1129.jpg
BC_99
I considered it, but didnt want to be like everyone else. I am a fabricator, so why not use what I do and create a new idea. BC_99

BC_99Sorry BC_99, the question was meant for Mike_StarionTSI but I forgot to put his name . The ashtray idea is cool, keep on fabricating . dmyers151
I had a pillar mount for half a season. It blocks a lot of the windshield and really started to bother me.
