nah i own 5 other turbos ranging from 140hp to 408WHP and i doubt this is gonna be another toy i have to worry about breaking, more was for esthetics.

i have no idea, sounds like a pain in the a$$ and he doesn't seem to know too much, he was taking the mechanic's word. He is like its a fast car. apparently has never driven anything fast before. He said it was for sale for 2500$ running and he had it sold until the guy came to pick it up and it decided it wouldnt start. i asked him about changing the pump he made it sound like a 30 min job.

I was browsing craigslist and came upon a 1500$ TSI. called the guy and got pictures, 88 Black on Black leather, automatic trans low mile and supposedly needs only a fuel pump. The Guy gave me a story, it was his sons car, he had a deal with him, but if he got a ticket, the car was gone. Low and Behold, he did. Owner sent me pictures, it looks decent, other than sitting on 4 flat tires and possibly needs a front air dam, rear tail lamp and a fuel pump. He is asking 1500$, wants it gone. Personally im not a fan of automatics. I may take a look at it tomorrow, i know what to look at also because its a NJ car, rust will probably be a factor in deciding. what should I offer the guy ? i was thinking maybe 800$ if there is anything more than i already know about the car. without it running, its a crap shoot and i'm taking the guy at his word that it does run if i replace it, he said his mechanic said the pump is bad. how hard is that to change out is my next question. help me out guys

you mentioned it might have dropped a valve. what is it doing or not doing? does it run/move at alll? does it just have lack of compression in one cylinder or did the valve possibly damage one of the pistons?? i may be interested but i need to know the story as its in NC and im in NJ

The key rack they came off of listed them as fitting Conquest and Starion 85+ and other mitsu models. I posted the Ilco ESP number so if you cross it to any of the numbers it will also come up whatever it fits. MIT1 is the number on the key, anybody with keys that are not original and were made elsewhere should be able to verify whether correct or not and also the reason i wanted to post the picture in case the key book that i had at work was wrong for some reason. as im seeing this doesnt seem to be right. i guess we can forgot all about these for now and i guess thats that

alright pic is up. i looked on the back, they are made by ESP, so they are not original blanks, but they do say and have the emblem on them. i have 6 so the 1st 6 ppl and thats all.
