Window Switch Cleaning

Pics on switch cleaning. Start with a clean work area. The bottom of the switches have white plastic pins that push against the metal to activate the switch. They have springs inside of them, be careful you don't lose any of the springs.

Remove the 2 screws.

Pull up the rubber protector. You will see the end of the pin. One end is smaller than the other. Push it out from that end.

There is a small pin that holds the window "lock" switch in place. Push it out also.

Once you push the pins out, the switches will separate from the parts that need cleaning.

A clean one and a dirty one. Notice the 2 slots on it. When you re-assemble, they go into slots to keep you from putting them in backwards.
