hey looking to do the same swap!! all the help and info i can get would be great what tranny u got? what year motor? how much wireing was there... oh and i really want to no what motor mounts u use and what ecu?! my 87 tsi is already torn apart just need to buy eveything and looking to do asap

i got the car for free it doesnt run and everything under the hood looks like s***.. rather then play around with it i just started pulling it out and looking to buy a 4g swap off the internet.... just looking for some help like, will the 4g63 motor out of the evo be a direct bolt in to the mounts, tranny, etc or what will i need and so on.. ASAP

my father has altymers or how ever u speel it and we didnt really talk most my life so i have no idea whats up with the car and its useless asking him.. i been reading up online about these cars and there is potential thanx for the links thats exactly what i needed!! trust me i will do my part cars and wrk are my life ... and it helps to have a little help so thank u for suggestion and ill be on here often showing progress and asking ( educated questions ) hahah auto machanic wasnt my thing.. i went to barron institute of technology for auto body custom.. but finding myself more into what makes things go these days and if anyone has a mac book and knows how to resize pics let me no so u can see what i have over here

the only thing i no for sure is the rear wheels are locked.. other then that the car ran a few yrs ago idk the reason for it sitting i havent played around with it yet but i have a week off from wrk in 2 weeks.. ima get as much done as i can ... i tried to post pictures but it said its to large and idk how to resize them with my new mac book still figuring the comp out but yeah i joined this forum to see what people do with these cars any little tricks and such and hard to find parts im sure ill be needs a few things!! all i have done so far is buy new brakes and tires extended wheel studs and extended lug nuts none of whitch is on yet But thanks for the reply i no nothing about these cars , or where to start, trouble spots or nothing... civic engine bay is so simple hahah

ok i have a 1987 mitsubishi starion turbo.... the car was my dads just recently handed it dwn for my b day in july... i would love to get it on the road soon where do i begin to try and get this started other then a battery...
