Hey I was wondering if any one has tried to rebuild their starion/conquest to a 4wd rally car. I think it would be pretty cool. I'm thinking about it myself but I want some opinions of other people first. If anyone has any pictures of the 4WD Starion please send them me or tell me where to go to see them. Thanks in advance

I had a problem like that before when I put new seals on my injectors. I know it sounds odd but I just took them out and blew through the top of the injector. Kinda like you're trying to put pressure in it. Do both of them that way and see if that helps. Its probably just a little dirt from handling them.

Okay. I bought my 89 quest from a friend that lives a few houses down from me. I was leaving my house one day and noticed he was outside so I stopped and start talking to him. He's the kind, I realize this now, that thinks he knows all about quests. I told him about there being oil in the intercooler and that I needed to replace the seal on my turbo. Guess what this retard says...."There's suppose to be oil in the intercooler!" All I said was..."What? No....there is not supposed to be oil in the intercooler. Only air." Then he asks me, "Where the heck is the air coming from?" All I could say was, "From the air filter?" Then he started arguing with me about it. After that I said that I needed to adjust my timing chain guides and get my vacuum leaks fixed so the car would run better. He said "You don't need to mess with the vacuum stuff or the timing chain guides. Theres no problem with a coupla leaks. It's not that big of a deal." All I could do was stare at him. Then I said "Who do you think I'm gonna believe, one person that says that its not that big of a deal, and never did anything to the car himself. Or hundreds of people that have worked on the same car that I own, and that have had the same problem with their cars that have fixed them and said they run ten times better?" After that we just argued more and I left and busted out laughing. That dude was retarded.

Thanx guys. I'll try it and post some pics later. The previous owner of my car didnt know crap about conquests and never did anything to it himself. He got a mechanic to do it. Anyways, I'll try the Eclipse thing. Hey, OGFrenchHorn, did you get those pipes made or did they come as an after market kit?

I'm working on my 89 quest and I need to know all the vacuum stuff I can take off that wont hurt the car. I dont need emissions testing here so I dont care about it unless I need it. thanx in advance

I put new gaskets on my injectors recently. Top and bottom seals. But it still leaks gas through them. What the heck is wrong?

WHOLE COW!! $90?!?!?! I got mine for WAY cheaper than that at Advance Auto. But I'm having problems with it though. My gauge doesnt read.

I want to take all of the air filter stuff off and put one pipe to a cone air filter.

I'm thinking of putting on a cold air intake and need soem help. Is there an aftermarket CAI that I can buy or do I have to make one. If I have to make one what electrical/vacuum components do I have to keep? Thanks

Hey can anyone come to Martinsville, Virginia? You know, where the Martinsville Speedway is? I live about a quarter mile from it. It gets loud. But anyways, I'm trying to restore my quest and wanted to see other peoples quests. If no one can make it, I'll try driving a little ways, maybe to Danville or Roanoke.

Yea a friend that has a quest told me it might be either the valve lash is wrong or the lifters arent pumped up completely. I'll need to fix it soon cause its getting louder.
