( doing whole block saturday.) needs welding for emissions and a cat btw if you have a cat please let me know , need syncro mesh's or new tranny cuz of third gear.needs alignment and it would be nice to give it new front tires. but from what i am told I have like 270hp and like 290trq...dono no dyno yet due to work needed)13psi but i go to get on I80 east here in slc ( 13east area sugar house) and I am following this white Carrera, Porche ....and he takes off leaving me the whole on ramp so i accelerate and my bov goes off by him ...(I swear i didn't time it) and he looks at my car , looks away and quickly looks back ...and i am like yes its a beater but its my beater.(I have a nice shell but needs a little work.)...so meh...then for like four exits sits by my driver window and keeps trying to race. so i tell him no , and he just keeps trying lol ...it made me happy to know that a tsi hits some ones ego that hard...dono just a ramble....I boosted fourth on the off ramp and he just watched me go ahead and stared...meh. lol cant wait till that work is done.......then well see. :character0056: Edited April 28, 2008 by silkdagger05 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He has been eyeing my Starion ever since I moved in next door and had heard the odd rumbles of the exhaust LOL, and I told him its nothing major, just an old starion with a bad exhaust! Anyways, one day, I was at a red light about to get on I-95 and he pulls up next to me, ofcourse, I give him a hello nod and proceeded to get on the highway, as the 2 lanes merged into one, he decided to get by me and fly off, well I did let him get by me by 2 car lengths, and then just floored it! I caught up right next to him and kept it even, then he realized I was meaning business, so he rolls down his window and said lets see what you got, 3 honks followed by massive exhaust notes, and it was on! He pulls on me, he had much better engine response, I just waited to hit full boost in 4th gear, and once it hit I just made him look RETARDED. I just peaced out on him and since my exit was coming real quick I flashed the hazards and waved bye! He came by later that afternoon to really see what was under my hood and was shocked to see a 4cyl car move like how it did....I told him its only a caravan on crack and he laughed and shook his head in amazement and said...I thought its just an old starion with an exhaust leak? u had me fooled kid u really got me!
