  1. i will call the banks on the title and see whats up if thats what the problem is. i will post what they say asap!
  2. hello guys, have a 1987 conquest running but bad clutch will still drive just know its bad and the frame rails are blown out under the floor boards(looks like water got in and froze) the other bad is it has two liens on the title thats why i say parts car.(not going to lie to you guys like the kid i got it from did!) paid $800 for it and put a new starter in it and alternator drove it all summer and now i need cash to work on my blazer for winter.the good is it has a greedy BOV,new walbro fuel pump, ties and wheels are great all the way around,cleaned all the grounds, did vac line delete, egr delete,MSD blaster2 coil,bearing in the torque tube, UV joints,motor looks very nice, well here take a look for your self: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-J55fxImKKM or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKoQ_QJJr2Q&feature=related . i think it is worth $1000 bucks for the parts and time i put in and what i paid for it. had some good fun with her this summer hope she goes to a good home!! please ask any thing you want here or by email simmonsnick@ymail.com

  4. should i use stock gap with 1 step colder plugs?? was the question not what plug just gap info and i really do appreciate your info too....... i had the plugs when i asked it. i will try the plugs you all say are so good next tune up. hey, change is good!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR INFO!!
  5. put the black on to a ground and the red one on the wire that is green w/yellow stripe and it should read between .48 -.52 i think! just did this last week. read what he^ said to it helps alot.
  6. hey, i am going by the info on this site in the FAQ's spark plug 101 and i never said i wanted stock plug or gap. maybe i need to start posting in the advance sec. since i dont want a stocker!
  7. man guys, she runs like a lion with the step colder plugs and above mentioned gap. so i am running the BPR8ES with a .032 gap(proly closer to .030 key chain gaper). the guy had BPR6EY plugs in it with a .041 gap and she ran like grap cutting out and all that good stuff!! thanks for the spark plug 101 guys in the FAQ's. some info i didnt know but now i know!!
  8. that is why i am changing my plugs to 1 step colder with a .032. i will let u know today if she still breaks up.

  10. just wanted to thank Rob (importwarrior) for coming to Syracuse and looking at my car with me. he was alot of help and helped me wire my fan to the temp switch and ran a real boost gauge. THANKS ROB and i cant wait to meet coke (Justin) at the next NY meet. hope fully we can have a meet at my house some friday night before the end of summer. i would like to do a BBq and then a cruise down on erie blvd/thompson road where all the local car guys meet EVERY friday night. i think you guys would have alot of fun.

  13. well, i know this is asked alot cause it is in the FAQ's but there is no pic to go buy. can some one please post me a pic of what the 87 setup should look like when it is done so i can see if i did mine right. she is running like sh#t now. i have the EGR ports plugged but should i just take it of?? maybe this is my problem?? i will take it off and make a plate for it tomorrow. please some one post a pic or kick me where there is one thanks guys!! in fact here is a video of what i have done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fs73zhtO-30
