Professor Quest
You can NEVER have TOO MANY TOOLS! The injector tested out at 2.9 OHMS. Now let's see how well it FIRES! ;D

Professor Quest
Take a 4 foot section of clear 3/8 hose, remove the O-ring from the top of the injector. Attach hose to top of injector with a hose clamp. Â Keep hose up-right. I put the hose thru a hook in the ceiling. Â With a rubber tip on the end of an air hose, apply 40-50 psi of air to the hose. Or attach the air hose with a union direct to your compressor. (see pic) Now apply the currant from a 9 volt battery soderd to an injector clip. Â You can also install a switch to kill the currant. Try not to run air threw the injector. You COULD damage it. Â Â Kinda hard to see.............but you can see it. The carb cleaner is making a pretty desent pattern. Note the first blast concentrated in the center on the poster board. Â New injector "clip" number....... G P Sorensen 800-9213 sold by Auto Zone $3.99. Available thru their "HUB" stores. Professor Quest
DO NOT TRY THIS!!! This is gasoline mixed with some ATF to HELP TAKE A BETTER PICTURE. Too bad the injector stuck OPEN. Better run some more carb cleaner threw it. Well, there you have it.............a 9 volt battery can also CONTINUOSLY fire the injector as well. BTW......this injector continued to be stuck open after being fired a few times. I got stupid and hit the pulse button when there was not enough carb cleaner left. This made the injector fire DRY. DON'T DO THAT! ;D You can also REVERSE FLOW THE INJECTORS. Just put the hose on the other end. If you have an injector stuck open..............TRY IT! Shelby
for test clips , remove the spring retainers , you'l be pluging and unpluging the injs too much , and you won't need them
Professor Quest
That's EXACTLY what I was thinking right after I broke it. ;D The "PULSE TOOL" has no wire clips. I just wanted to see how much resistance the new connector had while checking the OHMs. You can't run the OHM test with a "PIG-TAIL" on. Way too much resistance. I better get some new leads for the OTC DVOM. Never could get the OTC to "zero-out". >
