Ok here is the situation, long time coming I know,,,, steve and his company has decided not to produce

The starquest products anymore but he "thanks us greatly" as a community ,,,he contemplated selling the molds to "3sx"

But I have decided to give it a go,And buy the molds and all the goods he has

Done for the starquest.

 

The bad,,, the short throw shifter will be delayed till I find a company to make

The bases.

 

The good,,,the products should be more available than before. The prices should remain

The same for the GPs. Also have the possibility of remaking the camber plates and strut bar

System.

 

 

I'm gonna try to stick with what Steve has done in the past,,,, as far as payment and shipping.

If you pay in full upfront shipping is free,,,if you pay a partial payment then you'll pay actual shipping.

And ill ship as soon as the orders are done.

Obviously there will be a small learning curve,but I've seen the molds and looks fairly simple,,,and have Steve to guide me thru the little details.

Again the only thing not available at first,will be the short throw shifters. I don't think it'll take me long

To find a company to make the bases. The camber plates/strut bar won't be available yet either.

 

Partial Payment has been sent for the molds/goods,, hopeing to have the rest by the end of this week.

So Steve can get it all shipped out. Again Steve is always busy so I'm not sure when he will be able to ship it,,but most of the goodies are already on a pallet ,so might be pretty quick.

I can't give a definite date of completion,I know ill have to order the urethane and I'm not sure how long

That takes to get. I won't be able to order that till the following week,probably the 29thish.

I also have some small tools to buy as well.

Any thoughts on how long we want before we close this GP? The feeler thread

Looks good,,but feeler threads aren't always accurate. Plus a "change of hands" might

Scare the weak away.

I have a local shop in mind,,but if it falls thru. Ill be looking elsewhere.

The bases are cnc milled,,Not sure what ill be getting as far as programs.

Not all the details are hammered out. But between the short talks/emails I have
