Make me an offer, i will post pic of the crack in the wheel arch tonight but it is literally less than 10mm by 40mm crack in the paint, suspecting it may be a light skim of body filler which has cracked. Update, i have bought and will fit new lower front ball joints, sterring arm control ends, strut mounts, ceramic bake pads($300 in parts) none of these parts are excesively worn, just like it to be perfect. All offers considered. thanks Davie
  7. Ziebart rubs off with some paint thinners or regular gas to reveal paint that has been hidden from the elements that would put the finish on most of our cars to shame, talking from experience, had a mk1 golf gti which was ziebarted from new, probably the best rust protection availiable and definitely not cheap to have carried out, they cover the inside of all panels, very proffesional and very expensive but works wonders!

I will take a pic tomorrow n put it up, its no more than 1/2inch by 1inch on an otherwise pretty flawless body, may even repair it myself before sale, paint is so fresh i rekon it would be easy to blend it in, i am open to serious offers, unfortunately its got to go, 1 parking space n 2cars aint gonna work n cant afford to pay to garage it as a toy....................gonna be sorely missed!!! spent over 2g on on it since i bought it, payed 5g for the pleasure of ownership so would like to recoup as much back as poss- Thanks for the compliment, pictures dont really do it justice, kinda attached to the car, first car i have bought since moving to the states.

Looks like i may have to sell my quest after only a few months of ownership! 88k miles since new, just fitted 19inch ruff wheels 4weeks ago, still have standard polished rims also, front and rear strut braces, momo steering wheel, all new brakes-pads and rotors all round, new shocks all round, new standard exhaust fitted (mookeh exhaust ordered, which i will give to buyer when it arrives), turbo hard pipes and bov, alpine ipod stereo with polk audio speakers. Also have a brand new replacement turbo not that it needs one but will go with the sale. Car starts every day, boosts nicely to 12psi, never had any problems in my short ownership. Only bad things are, front seats-leather hardened and some stitching has come out (burgundy interior), drivers side rear arch has a small crack in what looks to be a previous repair when it was painted approx 2years ago, other than that paint is fresh and clean would rate it about 8-10 (but iam very picky!), horn and rear wiper not working. Passed DC inspection and emissions with no problems. Thanks Davie.
  10. Ye got a 25mm spacer on the rear and no spacer on the front right now, im quite happy with the front, could maybe come out a little more but would require arch work, same for the rear the 25mm spacer takes the wheel out as far as i would like to go without cutting or rolling the arch.
  11. Got these recently, Ruff R277 19inch 8.5front 9.5rear +20 offset (need to space them out slightly) $1400 all in tyres, nuts and delivery included from an e-bay company called need4speed, based in california (i think), very helpful bloke and hes got lots of end of line and specials on wheels and tyres, look him up, maybe got something to your liking at a lower price than $1700
  12. Just want to say a big thanks to everyone who gave some input on sizes, got the wheels fitted yesterday, Ruff R277 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear, +20 offset f+r with 25mm spacer on the rear, didnt really want to get involved with arch work so kept the spacing to a minimum for the moment.
  13. Found some cusco plates, anyone have experience of these? would they still raise the ride height?
  14. My front top shock mounts seem to be splitting, what i was wondering is should i replace with factory or is it worth upgrading to camber adjustable plates? (pros and cons?) Not sure about the adjustable plates, im sitting on stock springs n shocks at the moment so dont want to raise the ride height anymore.
  15. Had a look n they look wicked, drawn towards 19s thou, the spoke set up with them not reaching the edge of the wheel makes it look smaller in diameter, although the dish on it is massive! thinkin if i go up an inch it will improve it. The yellow car......................what the hell has he done to that engine???? aint seen one like that in my browsing, sweet car!
