  1. Selling one OEM NIB Mitsubishi Starion/Conquest lower air dam, still in the plastic, w/ the original box, never installed, painted or prepped.. asking $300 OBO + S&H. i do take paypal. http://bewilderment.geeksanon.ca/pics/forsale/DSC01706.JPG http://bewilderment.geeksanon.ca/pics/forsale/DSC01705.JPG http://bewilderment.geeksanon.ca/pics/forsale/DSC01707.JPG http://bewilderment.geeksanon.ca/pics/forsale/DSC01708.JPG
  2. no problem. better fit, exhaust and intake are on the same side as the G54B lower clearance on the oil pan, sway bar, i won't be baking the steering box, hood clearance is better, the V150 trans fits better and is manual, etc. and i've got a 351w based mustang i can play around with turbo's etc.. the cell was custom made. theres not really a part # that i remember persay they take a "box" and add what you want to it. i'll see if i can dig up the old e-mails from when i ordered it and i can post them here, or forward them to your e-mail. ~J
  3. i've uploaded alot of these pictures to the server i use. but i'm not sure if the thread i made survived on here.. however it's still on here. http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthread.php?t=37046 and i've taken detailed pictures of what i've done so far. if you have any more questions feel free to ask. i'm still working on the car but i believe i'll be taking a different direction.. switching to a 1jz/2jz instead and parting out the 302 stuff, custom headers, drive-shaft, etc... ~J
  4. congrats on the choice to keep her.. but.. priorities are key.. i'm in the process of re-evaluating my financial situation as well as my parts bin. i do believe i'm being drawn back to the 1jz/2jz swap, hopefully you wouldn't mind answering a few lingering questions i might have if and when they might arise. good luck ~J
  5. i have to give you credit. it is the swap i had originally planned however the $ needed to complete such a project wasn't within my reach at the time. however i planned on using the V16x trans instead of the R150. however the size was comparable with the T-56. even the T-5 would need some modification to the trans tunnel, which i didn't want to attempt. it's nice to know that the R150 will hold up under the conditions you've got. i think the only thing i'd have to fault you for is the choice of the cobra R's.. not my taste.. but as long as it makes you happy. congrats on getting it running.. you've certainly given me a reason to pause in my own swap and re-consider assembling a turbo 1JZ/2JZ when/if i finish with my current swap.. as most of the pieces i've assembled can still be used, single exhaust, fuel cell, etc.. once again congrats, and keep up the awesome work. i'll be following along.. ~J
  6. to each his own, i prefer to sneak up on my prey... if i was going to go with something different i'd go with an 83 replica carbon fiber/kevlar hood and paint it.. weight reduction your hood does look mint.. put up some pictures when you get it mounted..
  7. i'd have to agree we should have a hybrid forum or sub forum for all the engine swaps.. a site as large as this one that reaches the maximum amount of users would benafit the starquest comunity as a whole as well as the swappers.
  8. nice hood... i don't have any clearence problems with my stock hood...
  9. whats the two mounting holes for on the header panel? they're on either side of the mitsubishi emblem on the inside.. oil cooler? power steering cooler?
  10. gave me exactly what i was looking for, didn't even ask for $.. of course i'm gonna leave him something for shipping it A++ thanks for the fittings.. ~Joshua M.
