Jack86
This is just a dream, but I was just thinking this engine, 1LR-GUE v10, would be awesome in a SQ. If you haven't heard this monster, youtube the Lexus LFA. I've been trying to find dimensions of it to see if it would even work, but all I can find so far is that it is smaller than the 3.5L v6 toyota puts in a few of their cars and I believe it is what powers the lotus aurora. Even though it is just a dream, what do you guys think?
donplayahat
if you have the money and time. go for it. it will be a crazy!!! id love to see this work thou i dont thing we have enough space to fit in the engine bay
dmyers151
Not completely on topic, but did you know that Toyota loses money on every LFA they sell? The had the car like 80% designed and had some sort of technological breakthrough and scraped the whole thing to restart from scratch with new tech. LSQuest88
If I remember right they rev to like 10k stock! Awesome sounding motors. Never seen under the hood of an lfa but I don't think they are that big of an engine bay so it may fit. I don't remember if they are front or rear engine now lol. Even if you have to do a little cut to fit who cares it would be bad tail! Edited July 17, 2014 by LSQuest88

That is crazy to think they are losing money when they are around 400,000. If I remember right they rev to like 10k stock! Awesome sounding motors. They had to do digital tach to keep up with it. It would be a fun engine if one had the money and it fit. Edited July 17, 2014 by Jack86

TexasQuest
Very sexy sounding engine! Didn't the designer of that car die in a crash in a prototype?

Technology
Get a v10 from a ford truck if you want a v10.
autotr8er2
A Ford or Viper V-10 could probably pull a stump out for sure. But, the LFA engine would set a forest on fire. LOL
Turbo Cary
Id try out the new 6 rotor engine. That would be equal to an 18 cylinder motor. Imagine 6 turbos or 3 massive ones. Plus it would fit in a quest fairly easily
