Anyone know where to get this?

Recommended Posts

I've been reurbishing these louvers I picked up from a friend and have managed to work out all the kinks except for this major one.

Along each side of the louvers is a piece of trim. The trim finishes off the edges as well as being what holds them together in a line. This is where it's located...

Look down the FAR LEFT EDGE. See that trim?

I have only one complete piece out of four. This is the design of the piece...

You can see the groove the metal fits in at the top left. The flatter side goes underneath. The rounded portion is the part that shows (the outside/top). The hard part is finding it with the rounded part. I HAVE to have the rounded part because this piece is rivvited and the rivvet excess hides in that cavity. the metal is about 1/32" thick. Does anyone have an idea where I can get this trim? Or something SIMILAR that would look good and be able to hide the excess of the rivvet?

That's getting me closer! I've foundquite a bit of similar sites but those are getting closer to the style. If you happen to see one with a cavity to hide the excess of the rivvets let me know. That's the hard part. Thanks so far! :)

Looked around the site and called them and mcmaster.com is the distributor of trimlok and neither of them have the correct trim. So looks like I'm still on the lookout for it. Thanks again so far!
