  1. Found a broken wire on the connector going to the isc, so i unplugged it and it hasn't done it since and i've beaten the heck out of it. I also found my vac advance on my dizzy is bad i gotta see if i can get another one of those, that two of those so far.
  2. The car is three hours away from me down in julesburg. There is no title to the car and it is gutted except for the dashboard. Not much left. Engine and head are still left.
  3. Yea i didn't realize until yesterday that the hybrid was such a crazy process. I have made the final decision to find a block that will bolt directly up to my transmission. I just need a block to start my build with, I just took the manifold over to the walding place today to have it modded. I drilled the other side out already and made a block off plate for the other side. I like the sound of doing a supra tranny, but they are pretty expensive transmissions to find from what ive seen.

Still in need of: Modded intake from DSM if someone can let one go, a 4g63 SOHC wideblock so i can at least start my swap I have my 83 thats been sitting too long it needs to have something started one it since i just had the interior all redone before it broke down. If you have any swap parts that would help, please let me know. I will be pulling the stock running G54B out of the 83 if anyone is interested. It has no spark and i couldn't figure it out. but great block and head. Maybe we can work something out. Thanks a million!
  5. Yea i actually still have the tranny. I can't be sure of its condition as I had never driven the car. I an also going to be selling the block and head after i yank the motor out. I still do not have the motor out of the car yet so it might be a little bit before i can get the tranny out. How quick do you need the tranny?
  6. No boost or vacuum leaks it drives and boosts fine when its colder but when it warms up it does this. I found on another post a very similar prob that had to do with the ISC. Might try to change this part.
  7. Alright an issue ive neer run into before. When i first start the car it runs just fine until it warms up. Then as i go to drive it warm, the car won't rev past 2000. It falls on it face with no power at all until it reaches below 2k again. I had a msd 6al msd coil, gm maf and translator, but i took it all off to diagnose and it still did the same thing. The only other thing that happened is i had to change out a TPS sensor. Maybe i should check for engine codes and see if i have a bad sensor or something? Any help with doing the code check? I finally found the white connector in the glove box.
  8. I just ordered my Translator and Sensor today for a 1g eclipse on ebay. I was wondering how hard the wiring is to do on these in case it doesn't come with any instructions.
  9. I have an aftermarket 8"'s all the way around . But when i drift i put the stock rear 9" shp wheels on.. Another quick questio nabout the car. I switched to a lightweight flywheel Fidanza. Any prs or cons from you guys on this. It seems tghat my rpms come much quicker but obviously i lost a lot of inertia internally that helps keep this thing spooled. Like it cuz i hadn;'t drifted with stock flywheel before.
  10. Lol that was my last run of the day and i was pissed lol. More though i just wanted to tear it up and burn off my set of tires that i had on there. I figured when i spin out TEAR IT UP LOL. Nexy event is June 3rd at the pikes peak int'l raceway parking lot. I will have camber plates by then so i will do all the alignment stuff you all have given me info on. Will be runnin 245's on the front to see what that does. Damn i love this site
  11. I am trying to find a maf-t for now until i have all the parts ready. Have a 3" GM MAF. I have heard good things about those. Will mate it with a NGK wideband.
  12. I would like to make as much power as the motor will allow. Not for drag racing or anything just drift. I have a source for Turbo II Transmissions. I was told they could be fit to out motors somehow. So many options.
  13. Hmmm well i know someone watchted the video lol. I agree i think im late on all my reactions. I guess i am thinking my udnerpowered car has more umph lol. Damn guys and their 240's with power on demand!! Thank you all for your suggestions, I really apprecfiate your help. The 4G project is slowly in the works now. Seatching for all the necessary parts for bolting my narrowblock up the cheap way.
  14. Yes this is where all my research has been done. I know its gunna be a lot of work, but i think im savvy enough. Just don't have the fabrication tools needed to make the few parts just to get the engine and tranny mated and installed. I will probably do the d50 km132 hybrid conversion to make the internals stronger. I just don't have a readily available 2.4 wideblock or the money to build another motor. This is one already set. Definatly need any help i can get. Thanks for the reply.
