All of this used to be blue too. Lots of sanding, scraping, wet sanding and patience pays off.

You can do some amazing work w spray paint like you said it's all about patience.  Looks good

No spray paint applied to these areas, that's what's left of the original paint finish. The only touch-ups here is where i got down to factory primer while sanding, and i literally just put a dab on my fingertip and applied as needed. Just prepping for a full respray without having to go over a bunch of blue where it was. Inside the door hinge area and inside of doors are left.

I guess sometimes horrible paint jobs are a good thing!  Looks great, excellent work.
