dstar88 Posted March 23, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 23, 2008 (edited) whats the name of it??? i gata try and find a wiring thing for it..my buddy didnt give me any papers on it., im trying to see if i can find another solinoid for it so i can install his boost controler in his car,...he said hell give me this one if i install his greddy boost controler,..the only problem is that his boost controler dont have the electric solinoid for regulating the boost. and i dont want to use the solinoid that came with this one, but if i have to then i will. Car6on14 Posted March 23, 2008 Report Share Posted March 23, 2008 (edited) It may be one of these, I have one too, havent installed yet, it does alot: http://www.performance-trends.com/boost_controllers.htm I got mine off ebay and it wasnt branded PIT, but the instructions were the same. The instructions claimed it needed bosch relays to use for the turbo timer install, i didnt have any and tried to figure out how to wire it without them but I didnt have any luck getting it to work. Anyways, check out the site & good luck. Tman, u get the turbo timer to work with just the harness or did u use relays too? If it just needs a HKS harness i think ill pick one of those up... dstar88 Posted March 24, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 24, 2008 yea im talking about that little solenoid that comes with the boost controller, its whats supposed to electricly regulate the the psi going to the waste gate from the boost controler., i think i found one tho, theres a couple on ebay so i might get one of those. that way i can put my buddies boost controler in his car and still have a solinoid for me to use with this boost controler/ turbo timer/ nos sprayer/everything els it does haha.
