  1. Update: This car is now sold and in the hands of one of our own club members. Congrats to the new owner and many years of good fortune to you. Mark
  2. Up for sale is a 1988 Conquest TSI with rare Sport Handling Package with only 80,271+ miles. Also known as the Mitsubishi Starion ESI. Bright blue with black leather. One of the best examples of this car out there. I've seen none better in the state of Maryland. If you know this vehicle, you know how hard it is to find one without rust and major modifications. I waited over a year to find this one. Check the pictures! Runs and drives like new. Factory paint shows beautifully with only minor imperfections that you would expect on a car much newer (front spoiler is not broken as most are). I have seen no rust on this car anywhere. Interior is in great shape with no rips or tears, only minor wear on driver's seat bolster. Entire interior has been pampered its entire life with routine leather conditioning. Paint was just polished as it was each year and is kept under cover from harmful UV rays. Cover included in sale along with touch-up paint and factory maintenance manuals(2). I've owned the car for the last 7 years and get looks and attention every time I take it out. I was the 3rd owner and only used it for fare weather fun in the sun. Never driven it in the rain or winter conditions. Only put 21k on it in my 7 years. Second owner lived in Perry Hall and improved many options as did I. Last owner had the vehicle garaged and covered (first owner moved from florida to chicago and did not want the car to see a chicago winter). This vehicle has been adult owned, pampered and spoiled all its life. A number of updates include: • TOP END PERFORMANCE CLUTCH ASSY. • DRILLED AND SLOTTED BRAKE ROTORS AND PADS(ALL 4) • BRAIDED STEEL BRAKE LINES • TOP END PERFORMANCE EXHAUST DOWN PIPE • TOP END PERFORMANCE ADJUSTABLE BOOST REGULATOR • WHEELS REFINISHED RECENTLY • TOP END PERFORMANCE PLUG WIRES AND HIGH PERFORMANCE COIL • REPLACED A/C COMPRESSOR WHICH BLOWS COLD This vehicle has had more maint. than recomended(including jet valve adjustment). Vehicle gets only 93 octane gas and synthetic oil changes(Mobile 1). I have kept many of the original parts from what was updated which are included in this auction(ie.clutch, converter, digital climate control, etc.) All documentation will be included in the sale. I hate to sell it, but ready to move on to another vehicle adventure. Vehicle is for sale with no warranties expressed or implied. This is the one you've been waiting for. You won't be disappointed!!! Asking price is $7,995/OBO. Please only serious offers only. This is a one is worth every penny. Use it as a daily driver or just weekend fun as I did - She's as solid as they come. Thanks for looking - Mark
  3. Thanks for the help. I'm not much on these electrical issues so most of what you explained sounds pretty Greak to me. If I understand you correctly, I will need to purchase some additional relays? Not sure what I would be looking for. Any additional help or "Wiring for Dummies" would be great. Thanks again E-Mann.
  4. I'm thinking about trying to get my 88 Quest TSI foglights setup to come on without having to turn on the head lights. I live in Maryland and by law, the fog lights have to turn off with the high beams. I'd like to keep this in place. Any one know the way to set this up with the parking lights and still keep the high/low beam functionality of them turning on and off? Any help would be great. Mark[/color]
