Emissions Vacuum Diagrams in Color

Recommended Posts

I took the time to add color to some of the diagrams and make some small pictures more clear in Paint. When time permits I will remake them completely for a more clear picture on all four diagrams. The colors reflect the Emissions Vacuum Lines from the OEM lines as they came with color coating marks on them for ease. Any suggestions let me know.

Just my 2 cents worth.

The '88 vacuum hose diagram is NOT accurate because:

1) it does not show the tubing running to the components on the air filter canister.

2) the Secondary Air Filter DOES NOT have Two (2) vacuum lines going to it; one to a Purge Control Valve and the other to the Secondary Air Filter Vacuum Actuator. It only has one (1) vacuum line going to the Secondary Air Filter Vacuum Actuator.

3) it does not show the vacuum tubing to the Turbo Actuator.

This discrepancy has been on my to do list to draw out the real Vacuum tubing Layout for the past 19 years. I guess I'll get under the hood of my OEM original '88 Starion ESIR SHP and trace out all of the vacuum tubing and draw up a diagram and post it here which will finally give Starquesters a accurate diagram of the Vacuum System Layout.

Maybe this weekend.
