Here is a easy way to pull the stock tbi throttle shaft seals. I did this with the throttle body and mixer off the manifiold. With a dremel or 90 degree drill you could use this method on car.

The old ones i encountered where crusty and had leaks and would not pull out with a bent pick so here is the trick to help.

Drill 1/16 holes like this (dont drill past the seal or youll really have a throttle body boost least)

Now use two really small screws and thread them in the holes. Use small enought screws that they dont scuff the throttle shaft.

Next turn the screws in on either side and the seal will push out.

A deep 9/16 socket makes a perfect seal driver for the new seal. Lube first with automotive grease just a thin film. Sil-Glyde worked great for me.

If you are afraid to go after it with a tiny drill bit...

At less than a 1/4 inch, a step bit will aid in depth control.
