  1. Everything is SOLD!! Thanks. And yeah, I will not be going back to that shop again. I didn't know the wrist pins were too tight but some other stuff they did didn't seem right either.
  2. Resurecting an OLD one here. After a graduation, a move, and a new kid, life is settling down. Parts still for sale. Offers very much accepted. Thanks!
  3. Wow, sorry its been a while. Trying to finish my Master's Degree this semester and it is keeping me busy. Sorry I've been slow at returning PM's. If I forgot to reply to anyone, send me another PM. As of now, everything is still for sale so make me an offer. Thanks.
  4. Bump it up!! Everything is still for sale and is all still OBO. Thanks.
  5. I can't find where I put them. I have an Evo with parts around my garage as well and I've misplaced some of my conquest stuff. Sorry. Unless I find them, the rods don't have the caps with them. cooltiger, you've got PM!
  6. Ha ha, just realized that too. Meant to put this stuff in the parts forum. Don't really want to start a new thread there. I'll have to see if one of the mods can move it for me. On to the parts, Oil Pump is $200 new (from Dad on the forums)so I'll ask $150 shipped, OBO. I'll try and get some pics up of the side skirts tomorrow when it's light out again. The pics seems to come out better in the daylight then with the flash. Both the pistons and the oil pump only have 900 miles on them.
  7. I think you're right. The shop that did my machine work put the pistons together for me but if I remember right, I think they were pressed in.
  8. I was looking at the oil pump today and it looks like it still has a part on it that came with my balance shaft elimination kit so I'll include the chain, sprocket and sprocket guide with that as well as part of the balance shaft elimination kit. The thing I don't have from the kit are the bushings. It's a freebie so If you don't want it, that fine too. Just thought I'd include it since I don't need it.
  9. What happened to the motor is I spun a crank bearing. Instead of rebuilding the block again with the oversized pistons, I got a stock bottom end for free so I don't need the oversized pistons anymore. The oil on the pistons you see is from taking the motor apart. I had the engine on an engine stand and flipped it upside down and pulled the crank off then pulled the pistons out the top. The rings and pistons themselves are in great shape. the roughness on the the rod isn't that bad. I guess if you can't machine rods, then whoever buys them will need new rods or deal with this one. What's of value are the pistons, I was just including the rods because I don't want to disassemble them. I'll try and get better pics up but my camera is not good at upclose pics. On the oil pump, I can't find it for anything under $300 new. If you know of a place, let me know.
  10. Package will be about 12 lbs (maybe 13 depending on how much packing is needed). UPS says 12 lbs to Jersey from 84606 is $19.76. Fedex is $18 and if I can fit the piston into the flat rate box then USPS is only $13.50. If it won't fit then they are about $18. Tracking is free with UPS and Fedex. It costs a dollar or 2 at USPS. Insurance is extra also. The rod itself is ok, its the bearing surface that is a little rough. It can easily be machined smooth and an oversized bearing put on and you are good to go. The other 3 are fine. I can send a pic or 2 of the roughness (it may or may not turn out in a photo). Let me know.
  11. I put rtv on the valve cover gasket but forgot about the rear cam plug. I'll have to check that out tomorrow. Could it be anything else? Could torqueing the head wrong cause the head gasket not to seal right? Are there oil passages in the back of the block and head that could leak back there? Can I try re torqueing the head or will have to put a whole new head gasket on if I release the pressure? I just put it on and drove only down the block and back. So frustrating.
  12. Ok so I just put the head back on my car, got everything up and running and it seems to be running great except for an oil leak somewhere off the back of the motor. I can't see well back there so I can't pinpoint it. I noticed drips of oil coming off the bottom of the bell housing so I tried tracing it back up. I could see the top of the bell housing was wet but can't get my head far enough back there to see where it's coming from. Any suggestions?? What is back there that could leak oil? I know of the valve cover and the head itself? If it's one of those, is there something I can do to better seal them? Thanks in advance.
