  1. For the brakes, my buddy has an 04 mustang and he is trying to convince me to go hydroboost.. It looks like it is a viable option, but i need to find out if mustangs lines are metric by that year...
  2. No i havent got a starter yet. Didnt know if I should get the kia or the 3000gt.. I ran into a problem though.. I have a really nice RPS flywheel for the 3000gt engine but the kia tranny needs a pilot bearing and the flywheel has a really small hole and from what I heard does not use a pilot bearing. Soo, i may have to see if someone will machine the hole larger to tolerance fit a kia pilot bearing..Only thing i did starter wise was try the 3000gt tranny gasket on the kia tranny and the bottom half nothing lined up.. That worried me until you told me the 3000gt starter fits..
  3. here are some pics on photobucket http://s1155.photobucket.com/albums/p547/steppesquest/
  4. I need driver and passenger doors for my quest. I live near pensacola florida but will drive a distance to pick them up..
  5. Oil pan fits perfectly without interfering with anything. I have my tranny bolted up and its good to go too. Thanks to the person who posted the eclipse intake, I appreciate that.. I would use it if mine didnt fit so good. Definitely an option thought. I have an rps flywheel and light weight front pulley that is not underdrive. I want to post pics but this is being a pain and is not letting me do it..
  6. The site wont let me post anymore pics for some reason.. Anyone had this problem. It says I only have 138mg left out of the 500 available to me
  7. Its an auto from a 2003 tundra with a 98 montero bellhousing. Not sure which torque converter ill use, but they look pretty much the same between the tundras and monteros. They may have different bolt patterns to mate to the flex plate.
  8. Yeah, it seriously just snapped into place just like the 2.6
  9. The pan looks like it will fit no problem but i cant say for sure because they sent me the wrong one.. I need a 4 bolt main pan and i received the older 2 bolt style with a narrow opening. And... after trial and error, no other pan off a montero or anything else will work. The 4 bolt girdle is so large.
  10. The intake is off a 2002 diamante so it faces forward, It interferes with the booster by an 1/8th in but it will work when its trimmed. Only issue I have is the brake booster is touching the corner of the valve cover. The motor in the pic looks like it is really far back but the bellhousing is protruding in to the engine bay much farther than the conquests was. I can easily undo the top bolts from over the valve covers and I could mount the starter too.. I would consider moving it a little farther forward but the intake is Really close to the hoodline now and the steering is in a good location in relation to where the trans bolts up. Ill look at it today. The block was easy to mod to fit the montero mounts, I had to remove a 1/4 inch off a casting nub and they bolted right on.. They have a really strange metric pitch thread though. I had to get them at napa. They are 1.75 pitch, so are the bellhousing bolts. I have the tranny in there too, its a tundra 2wd with a mitsubishi montero bell. Bolted right up and fits great..
