Here is the 1991 Toyota MR-2 Turbo that I got in trade for my 86 Starion LS swap.  It still has a few issues that I will be addressing this winter, but I've got it back out on the road and will be updating occasionally.

Parked the cars together to notarize the Title transfer at the Court House.

Before painting rear bumper. Notice the oil stain?

After painting rear bumper.  Notice the oil stain growing larger?

Backed it out for the first time with bumper painted, fenders rolled and stereo installed.
Driving it is not great.  It pulls OK in 1st gear, but bogs out in 2nd, 3rd and 4th above 3000rpm.  I changed the spark plugs and it improved 50%, so I had to order a new cap, rotor and plug wires.  I forgot to order a coil... I'll replace those pieces and try again.  Online searches tell me the AFM could be a culprit too for these symptoms.
Yes, the engine is leaking oil badly.  So bad that I used up a can of brake clean to try and rinse the block to find the source.  No luck yet.  Might just be the valve cover gasket, but I still don't know yet.

That's pretty sharp looking. I still dig the older wedge body style.Seems like the prices have skyrocketed on all of them around here though.
That air scoop is pretty radical! Doesn't it block your rear view?

I kid you not... This posting was the first mention that I have an MR2.  I haven't even contacted insurance to change it (I should have done that already) or made any attempt to register it.  I just got this in my work email......
My tin-foil hat is burning my scalp.

Nope.  Not registered.  I haven't even called my insurance company to swap coverage to it.

That's creepy & invasive even if you had registered it.  I bet Google is involved somehow. They are EVERYWHERE!

Not trying to be shady putting my old tag on the car.  Evidently Missouri tags stay with the driver, so he kept his tags at the swap.  That is my old tag from the Starion.  I feel like I'd get pulled over if I put a piece of paper back there.  I'm probably in the wrong, but it will be registered in my name and official this week.  Weird that I'm already getting questioned about buying a used Toyota.

NOOOOOOoooooo
I've learned my lesson on engine swaps.  The only swap will be for another car when I tire of this one.

Had I known I was gonna be video taped I might have got a haircut and wore decent clothes to meeting.  I'm in my "crawling on the ground" pants and a t-shirt, but yes that is me.  At least he didn't show my fat beer belly :)

Don't drive with that plate on... It's a big fine here. Fictitious tags. You don't need tags for 30 days after bill of sale.

I got the car insured, registered, inspected and tagged so I'm 100% legal.
Replaced the passenger side rear emergency brake cable and was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have any other bad cable and now have functioning parking/emergency brakes.  Cost was $90 for the cable at Napa.  Not bad considering those cables sell for $150 on eBay.  Not sure why the passenger side costs more than the driver side, but they are about 5x's as much.

Replaced the distributor cap and rotor.  Discovered that the distributor has bad internal seals and collects oil. :(   I need to buy a kit to replace all the seals, but luckily it's such a common problem the kits a readily available.  Car is running pretty good with the new cap and rotor, but will probably be short lived until I rebuild the distributor.

 Thinking about buying the "Warranty" if it actually covers oil leaks
