CaliConquestAlex
I'm wondering if it makes a difference to wire the injectors as 1&4 on Bank 1 and 2&3 on Bank 2 or 1&3 on Bank 1 and 2&4 on Bank 2 with a wasted spark setup? Hoping that Scott87Star can share some wisdom on this. I'm thinking that having fuel and spark in the cylinders that shouldn't be firing due to cam and crank timing is a bad thing. scott87star
How many squirts per revolution are you running? The short answer is it doesn't matter as, unless you're running full sequential no matter how you pair the banks there will always be fuel in the waste spark cylinder. It won't fire because there is no compression. Tuning a Toyota V12 for a guy in Texas, it has waste spark (6 ignition outputs) and full sequential injection. First time I've run across that combination but I can say on my MPI car sequential injection really does makes it run better.
CaliConquestAlex
Scott, What do you recommend for injector squirt settings? My car runs well, but it could be better and I can retune the VE tables, if needed. Can you post a pic of the settings in tunerstudio? Also, are you running a cam sensor for fully sequential or just semi-sequential? Edited September 14, 2014 by CaliConquestAlex
scott87star
2 squirts per cycle usually is fine for bank injection, I've used four for TBI with good results. I have a mighty max dizzy only for the cam signal, with sequential you obviously run just 1 squirt.
