  1. Just do all of us a favor, an be careful on that thing, eh?!!!
  2. Darn!!! need to get a flux capacitor an a Mr. Fusion converter gb goin'!!!!!
  3. John, exactly what kinda temps are you generating? I'm envisioning something like a p/s pump mounted next to your fuel cell driven by an elec. motor controlled by temp sensor after it goes thru some type of cooler to your diff. w/fittings @ 7 & 1 o'clock respectively. just a hopefully helpful thought. W.
  4. Spent a year in Izmir back in '76/77 be careful as some of their laws are crazy!!! (Oh, an don't look too shocked by all the men you'll see holding hands!!!)
  5. Boy, i thought it was a simple request, for some pics of a car an its owner, an its blossomed into this new thread ( who'd a thunk it???), I noticed Ginas sq has chimed in, so maybe she'll post some too? (bikini optional, but wouldn't hurt my eyes lol!!) Well done Brandi!!!
  6. Happy birthday, John, an many more! Since you mentioned racing, how'd you do last month? an how's your "crew-chief" doing? waitin for updates.
  7. Right back atcha, Shelby, an hopin' tomorrow's better than today!!! W.
  8. Not something I wanted to see posted, Best wishes for you an yours, Shelby. W.
  9. Something to help you choose is to look up the rolling height of your choices. 225/50 - 16 is about 24.75" and while 245/50 - 16 is as close to original 245/45 - 16 to find, it throws off your speedometer by about 2.5 m.p.h. ie; 55 on the speedometer is actually 52.5-53 m.p.h. Just a little more info. to help you decide on tire sizes. W.
  10. Glad you're takin what I said to heart. would hate to see you or your other baby girl in a ditch somewhere.
  11. Carlos, I'm not trying to discourage you, but I think your goal's not too realistic. If this is your first cross country trip in a car, please allow yourself a lot more time than 48 hrs., just to be safe, say like 3 1/2 days to go from point A to point B . A good GPS (Garmin) and a good Atlas should be amongst your preparations, the extra time is to allow for needed rest and varying road/traffic conditions, and unexpected stops/detours. I'd also take a laptop w/me for added communication w/various club members along your route, that may be able to assist you should you need it. That being said, PM me if you'd like help planning your trip, as I drive an 18-wheeler for a living. W.
  12. I was also cuttin up about bein' cheap, but was being real sayin' thx. (just so no one misconstrues things.)
  13. John, be safe, congrats on the new addition on the way (and to you especially, Mrs. C/vette !!!) an do keep us informed, vids appreciated. How's the ls3 workin for ya? Best wishes, W.
  14. AArrgghhh!!!, but we're cheap so-n-so's!! I say nothing ventured, nothing gained, whatever the outcome is, at least David made the attempt, thx, Dave.
