I got my coilovers installed two weekends ago. I also put in the front and rear strut bars I had. Going to get an alignment Friday, hopefully they will help a little with the autocross event this coming weekend.

Whoops, I mistook swap bars for strut bars. I think the sway bars are stock. I ordered  Addco front and rear sway bars but it doesn't look like they will get here until November some time.

Nice swap, have a question about clutch setup for my wideblock 4g64 mighty max. What flywheel did you run? And what clutch did you go with? Starion disk? Starion flywheel?

Awesome thank you importwarrior, I had the same idea about using the kiggly crank sensor a few years back and never got any info from lightly if it would work, that's awesome knowing it will work!!

I used a starion fidanza flywheel and a cheap starion ebay clutch.

I installed a COP setup, a radio panel from motocam, and a new shifter a few months back. Unfortunately I haven't driven the car much because I haven't gotten an alignment yet and my heater core leaked all over the first time I started it so I bypassed it for now and don't have heat.

Hi there! Any more updates on this awesome build?

I'm working on a 4g63 swap into my Starion and I love getting new ideas, tips, and tricks from the many who have come before me to make this swap work.

Great work, hope its still running well for you!

No updates to the car, but I've got all the parts under my bed for the next revision of the build. I forgot I did upgrade to dsmlink v3 though. I've got a speed density kit, tial bov, cx racing front mount, GSC S2 cams, Fidanza cam gears, 3" exhaust, a couple tial wastegates, and some other stuff for the compound setup I plan to run.

I took the conquest out to learn to drift and I was struggling, badly. I gave it a few events and couldn't get the hang of it. My friend that is really good was able to drift it but he said the car "had a lot of grip" and it made it difficult. I wasn't running sticky tires or anything so I didn't really know what to do. Soooooooo I threw money at it to at least finish the car, buying all the parts I mentioned above, but before I could get started on it I decided to get a 240sx to try and slide. So I got an auto s13 with a blown motor. Then I found a r32 front clip with an RB20DET in it so I got that and swapped it into the s13. Bunch of money spend and I take it out to drift and I still can't slide it because everytime I go to transition I oversteer and spin out, same problem I had with the conquest. My friend hops in and says the car is a pain in the tail to slide (his car is an s13 so I take his word). Well turns out since I did the RB20 swap, I had to ditch my front sway bar and apparently no front sway bar causes oversteer. Funny thing is, my conquest doesnt have the bushings on the front sway bar, so that could have been effecting the conquest too. I just got a sway bar for the s13 that fits, so we'll see if that makes a difference.

Next I still had a broken galant vr4 since I took it to the drag strip. Instead of fixing the busted manual trans, I decided to still the auto setup out of my 1g talon and swap the galant to an auto awd. Pull tranny, mounts, TCU, pig tails, etc. from the talon. Kick the talon out of the shop, put the galant in. Pull same stuff out of the galant and then install all the talon stuff into the galant including putting together a TCU harness, redoing intercooler piping and whatnot. Installed an auto 4 bolt rear diff and deleted the 4 wheel steering.

Other family stuff has also kept me busy so right now I'm trying to relax from car work. But come this winter if I don't have anything else break on me unexpectedly,  there's a chance I'll get started again on the conquest.

Cool projects. VR4 and RB20 S13 is good stuff for "the other addiction" forum
Auto DSMs are surprisingly quick, and the transmissions seem very strong oem and with minor upgrades
Nice to see the 2.4 starquest still alive and headed for a next round of mods

Question.
Did you wire the 2nd gen cam sensor + kiggly crank sensor, to your 1st gen CAS connector as per diagram in post #17 ?
Did you have to swap the injector pins at the 1st gen ecu, as you mentioned you may have ?
thanks
