  1. click this link for examples of what the vinyl covers will look like.this is an example of a flame design.but anything can be put onto the insert. http://www.pbase.com/venom96/inbox
  2. not mine yet,im supposed to get it 4th of july.
  3. ok guys,i need your input on this one.the link below will show the two pieces on the dooor panel that i will be the first thing my dad and i do for the quests and starion. the one circled in blue, what would you all like to have on it if you wanted one and in what colors.what i am planning on doing is like the custom headliners you see sometime with the flames.i can put TSI,ESIR,TURBO,BOB,BILLY or whatever you want and it will be embossed.the material will be a vinyl/leather hybrid.the reason we are going with this material is its cheaper than leather but soft.it a leatheretter material. the one circled in yellow, since its small, there isnt alot you can put on it but it can be changed to match the color of the upper piece. is anyone interested?what price would make it affordable to most of you? http://www.pbase.com/image/17207796 if anyone wants to email me:drazzmatic@hotmail.com vince
  4. i like the idea.blue lights would go great with a black and blue interior
  5. we should be able to get the foam also.its kinda high but not so bad it isnt affordable.since we wont have the actual frame of your seats,we can send some foam for you to use before you put the seat covers on.if you want to spend for the shipping to me and back,we will completely fix all the foam in the seats.
  6. ill post it there once i have everything ready to go.if you all have any ideas, let me know.
  7. the leatherette would be less expensive.and i would need a good pic to see if the cloth and leather are stitched the same.i would guess they arent as leather needs more stitching to hold together than cloth.my dad could answer it better than i.he will be the one doing all of the sewing.im gonna be doing the door panels and headliners.ill have a flame design in mine to show everyone.i know some may not like that, but it will be an example of what we will be doing.
  8. thats exactly what we are planning on doing.im gonna use my quests interior as the test mule.im gonna go with black with red inserts on mine.the seats will be available as leather or leatherette if you want to watch your cash.no shipping will be charged.if you want an interior, the cost is all you pay.any instructions you need,we can send or talk you thru it over the phone. we are talking to someone now about being able to engrave the leather seats with anything you may want on them, such as TSI on the headrest.maybe conquest or starion.even turbo.ill keep everyone informed so you all will know when we are good to go. and right now,we are looking at about $500 bucks for full interior.that is front and back.sound about right to you guys?
  9. im in the southeast part of alabama. when we get everything together,im gonna do my quests interior.ill post pics and then you can decide if you want anything done.the cost isnt going to be high.
  10. alabama.but we will be able to do any work on the quests out of state since i have one to use for a model for the patterns.the only thing will be the seats.i know they are different with some of the years but that can be worked out. we are gonna try and do full custom leather interior, your choice of color, front and read for under $600.once we get a pattern set in,we may offer them around $500.but that is only if we can get the orders.
  11. my dad and i are planning on opening up an upholstery shop again.we will be doing regular interior work as well as any custom work needed such as leather seats, custom headliners, door panels, and most anything on the interior.what i need is a wish list of sorts.what are some of the stuff you all want.remember though, this will not be dying dashes or door panels.we will not be painting anything. ill have pics of the door kick panel from 3000 soon so you can sorta see what we will be able to do.alsomight do some custom work on the quest to give you guys an idea of what we can do. anyone interested?
  12. first,a normal sewing machine will not sew the leather together.so i wouldnt advise trying it unless you want to throw your money away. now,my dad and i are going back into the upholstery business this summer.if i can get enough interest from some of the guys here,we will do leather seats for the members at a discounted price.regardless,if anyone is interested in reupholsterying their seats,we will do it on a first come basis.ill keep everyone posted on it.
