  1. I had a buddy buy a car that had hesitation issues at 3K. He had the primary and secondary injectors flow checked at three places, they all came back good. After about 3 months, one of his contacts that worked on classic cars finally traced it down to issues with the ecu (apparently the secondary injectors weren't firing). I gave him my 87 ecu to put into his 88 and it resolved his problem. Makes me wonder if it might be a flow issue?
  2. Thanks for the quick response guys. Normally, I'd like to learn a little by working on my cars, but since I'm going to be pretty busy until after the new year (and my brother still needs a car -- yes, I really really do trust him), I've sent a couple of PMs out. Hopefully, between he and I (mostly him) we can get the car running real quick like. I love this place!!! TheMoe Covington, GA
  3. I'm looking for the oil cooler feed and return lines to replace my old leaking ones (from block to cooler). I've tried a couple of local places (Advanced, Autozone, O'Reillys) and came up short. Nothing fancy, just a replacement so I can get my car on the road again... preferrably OEM or compatible. I've done some searching, and I think the part numbers are MB033404 and MB033405. I even tried calling the old Westboard number (800 229 1001) that I got my frame rail from a couple years ago, but Glen said they no longer have a Dodge dealer (they're Hyundai now). Anyway, if someone knows someone who can get or point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Moe Covington, GA
  4. I'm doing my 1G MAS conversion (no problems with the wiring), and am looking to get rid of the can. There's 1) a line that comes from the engine block from the bottom, 2) a line from the rear of the valve cover, 3) a line from the bottom front of the bay, and 4) a line that seems to come from the frame of the car itself (?). My question is: what do I do with them? Block, leave open, remove, etc? I think in an earlier post it says that I can just leave line #2 alone (possibly replace with a breather?). Not sure what to do with lines #1, #3, and #4. Any suggestions? TheMoe Covington, GA
  5. Just received my 1G BOV today. Coolness. Mark kept me in the loop, knew when it was shipped, and expected arrival... arrived just like he said it would. And, to top it off, it was clean and nicely packed. Everything was there. Thanks Mark! TheMoe Covington, GA

All right, I can't find a listing for Andy anywhere... so, just wanted to let y'all know that I just received his new 2" HP for the intercooler connection thing. Okay, I don't know the techy term, but y'all know what I meant. I can't wait to put it in, but it'll have to wait 'til next weekend... stupid bachelor partys that aren't even planned right!!! Anyway, I'm gonna miss PF meet because of it. > Sorry, getting off topic here. Just wanna thank Andy for his prompt response in sending the pipe. Thanks!! TheMoe Covington, GA
  7. Heck, I'd forgotten all about the injector clips until they showed up one day out of the blue. I was wondering to myself what they were... it finally dawned on me a couple hours later that Alan had sent it at my request. Thanks, man. Now, I'll just have to put everything together again. Once again... thanks! TheMoe Covington, GA
  8. Hah! Knew I saw this somewhere before... and here I was spending the last couple of hours looking it up under the virtual mechanics page. Thanks for the info! I just ordered my passenger side frame rail... they even had it in stock... should be receiving it in two days, the guy says. Thanks! Now, the mechanic won't have to fabricate the piece... ;D TheMoe
