  1. let me know what you have. post pics, price w/ shipping to FL 33703
  2. Nice! I'll check that out. Overthinking...
  3. Help! I get anywhere near 7-8 psi and my car falls flat on it's face. Roll on the throttle, is not so bad. Tromp on it and it spits, coughs and jerks like crazy.
  4. All fixed and everything works!
  5. Thanks Indiana, I had a dead power wire to the fuel pump, fixd correctly now. And the primary injector was stuck, leaking gas constantly. Thanks for the ideas
  6. I will read-up on this more. I have tried a couple of different injectors with similar results. Going back to the beginning, the pump would not run in key on position, but would the in start position. I wired the pump to a switched source in the fuse panel and the car runs. Question: if the igniter was bad, the car wouldn't run even if I had the pump rigged this way, correct? There must be an explanation as to why the fuel pump won't run, why I don't see power on the pump wire from the relay in "key on" position. This thing is just dumping fuel, there must be a simple answer. I'll try some more ideas and post the results later.
  7. thanks guys, I'll check it out. the car is an 87
  8. Need to try a new igniter for my 87. If I'm not mistaken the newer ones will work. Knock box/igniter one in the same, correct? Willing to paypal immediately. Thanks
  9. I discovered this car was hit in the drivers front, someone did a good job of sectioning a new clip repacement. Trouble is, some of the wiring was left unfinished and I'm sure I'm missing fused links ect here. Please help me out by telling me what you see wrong. I temp wire nutted to the battery terminal to get the car powered up. Everything works except the fuel control system (think its a bad knock box (igniter)) and the power windows wont work (they work when power is applied to the switch from an outside source). The pop-ups won't work either. If anyone has a diagram the would share, I would be grateful. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j59/ucrimas/itsubishi/trynabscene001.jpg http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j59/ucrimas/itsubishi/trynabscene002.jpg http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j59/ucrimas/itsubishi/trynabscene003.jpg
  10. Hey guys wondering about fuel management on these cars. I see on the stock fuel pump there is some sort of regulator between it and the fuel line. Question is, what does this do? A check valve of sorts? I don't have another to compare it to, but it looks like it might just be a big Banjo fitting. I purchased this car and the pump is missing this part of the pump assy. I ran fuel line straight off the end of the pump. Runs really rich and get a nice black smoke screen when the secondary injector fires, I'm thinking too much fuel pressure (duh)lol. Im asking because this is a fuel return system as opposed to a dead-head system, is it still possible the pressure is too much because of the missing parts on the fuel pump or should I be looking elsewhere? Another issue is the fuel pump was dead in the key on position, but runs while cranking. Looking into the ignitor but never see a problem with the tach not working (I wired the pump from a switched source). I'm beginning to think this was a mistake as the ECU/Fuel control is probably not working at all. Advice?
  11. the smoke was a brake fluid leak into the vacuum source for the brake booster. interior installed, brakes fixed. I'm keeping it now.
