  1. Sitting in my backyard is 87 Conquest Tsi. I got this car two years ago as a project car and never really finished. I pulled the motor and had the block, crank, and pistons all machined. I have all the gaskets needed to rebuild the motor, all it needs is piston rings, bearings and a new oil pump. I just dont have the time of the funds to finish the car. The car is white in color with a red cloth interior and has a five speed tranny. Theres around 120,xxx on the speedometer. The car comes with 8" rims in the rear and has a stock set of louvers that need a little refurbishing. I am moving at the first of the year and cant bring the car with me so I would rather see it go to a good home instead of ending up in a junkyard like so many I've come across scavaging for parts. I would like to get around 600 for it but at this point I am open to all offers, will even consider trades. Just send me an chat with your questions or offers.
  2. Do to recent events I will sell the conquest for 900 firm. Im selling my 87 conquest project car. I picked it up two years ago and was intending to rebuild it and put it back on the road. So far all ive managed to was pull the motor and have it sent to the machine shop. I have had the motor, crank, and rods all reconditioned. When i first got the car the intercooling pipe was missing, but I have replaced all the intercooling lines, and the water lines that were missing as well. This car comes with the 8" set of rear tires, a comlete set of rear louvers, and a first gen b.o.v. out of an eclipse. I also have all the gaskets, a new set of head bolts, and a balance shaft elemination kit to put the motor back together. All that is left to buy is crank bearings, piston rings and a new oil pump. The only reason i am selling this car is because I am really tigh on money and i ned to get my car out of the shop. If these were not an issue i would keep the conquest and continue the build. I am located in Sevierville, TN. I can send more pics apon request.
  3. I'm selling my 87 conquest project. The car is white with red cloth interior and the body is in pretty good shape for it s age. I picked this car up last year for a trade and was planning to restore it and get back on the road. So far all I have done is pulled the motor and strip it. I had the motor, crank, and rods put in the shop all ready. Everything was ok except one rod wich I have replaced. I have the complete gasket kit to rebuild the motor, along with new head bolts and a balance shaft elimination kit. When i got the car it came whith a first gen eclipse b.o.v. and the 8" wide rear tires. Since then i have also added a complete set of louvers for the car. The body of the car is in about 80% good shape. There all small dings around the body but no serious dents. There are small surface rust spots on the car from were the paint is chipped off , but those can be sannded off. I have all the original intercooler piping that goes with the car, but you will need to get an oil feed line for the turbo, piston rings, crank bearings, and a new oil pump. his car is pretty much set up right now to be built to what ever specifications you want. I am asking for 1200 or best over. The car is located in sevierville , TN. I can send pics of car and parts apon request, just leave me an email.
  4. Ok heres my situation with my conquest. I traded my other prelude two years ago to a kid who had this conquest, who by the way was trying to to the motor back together with permatex and cardboard peices. When i got the car it, i had to let it sit there throught the winter because it was to cold outside and i did not have a garage at my disposal to use. When it started to warm up i pulled out the motor and stripped it down. I have had the motor, crank, and rods all machined. I also have purchased all the gaskets for the motor as well. All that is neede is the crank bearings, piston rings and oil pump. I was trying to find a non-jetted head but was not very succesful. I even took out a small loan to help me get this car back on the road, but i got tight on money and used half of the money to pay bills and I just dont have the time or resources any more to finish the project, not to mention my wife making get rid of the car and my boat to pay for bills. The car is a 87 tsi 5sp, its white with the red cloth interior(no sunroof). The car came with the 8" tires in the rear and 6" in the front. I also picked up a complete rear louver set for the hatch. The previous owner deleted the a/c unit, and the origanal pipes but i have found a complete replacement set with spare housing and a first gen eclipse bov to go with it. I would like to try and get 2000.00 out of the car with all that i put into it with the extra rare parts i have, but i'll willing to nagotiate with serious inquires. I can send pics through emails, you can reach me at jlherrington@live.com. I also know the location of a white 83 hood to go with the car, but that only goes to the buyer. Im located in sevierville, tn.
  5. I traded my second prelude for an 87 conquest some kid had picked up cheap(he had know idea what he had or what he was doing with it). The previous owner before the kid was trying to supe up the conquest by frabicating some metal intake pipes. Needless to say thay dont fit right and they dont seal right. Every time i find one in the junk yard the pipes are already gone, so if you have a spare set, because you upgraded to hard pipes or you have an extra set that you can spare i am in desperate need of these hard to find oem intercooler lines. you can reach me here or email me at jlherrington@live.com. Any help will much appreciated, thankyou.
