  1. this is almost surreal LOL. I live over by the power plant, off Cove Rd!!! This is the third time I've found this car, the second time I found it I actually managed to buy it ($900 some-odd dollars, not running). She was my second, stupid me traded the first in on a truck. We'll have to get together sometime, there's quite a bit of story behind this car. I work 8-7 mon-sat, but I'm off sundays, drop me a line sometime. Dave
  2. I'll be durned, that is my old black Quest. You out by the lake frequently, I'm pretty sure I've seen her 5 or 6 times now last couple months. Bring her by Pam's Pets on N 1st sometime and I'll fill ya in on a little of her history. Glad to see someone's putting her back together, city forced me to get rid of her before I could bring her back to life. Dave
  3. They've taken the Starion off the model development page, so maybe our stuff is on the way? Dave
  4. Yeah, once they have 25 paid for. I paid for mine! ;D Dave
  5. It would probably be easier to find a colored film to replace that orange plastic with. I used to have some in three or four different colors, I wonder if it could be obtained from an arts and crafts store? I will have to look sometime in my spare time. There is a clearish lens right behind the orange plastic lens that you could attach the film too. Should work on the clock also.... The buttons for the lights have an orange paint like substance to make them orange that apparently lets light through. I bet it wouldn't be too hard to change that either. I'm glad you said something about getting a different color plastic, for some reason it reminded me of that colored film....LOL! : Dave
  6. The part that makes the Climate Control orange is not that hard to get to. Aside from taking it out of the car, it's five screws and some VERY CAREFUL prying with a small screwdriver. Directly behind the liquid crystal display is a light orange piece of plastic. Take it out, and i'm thinking you should be able to stick your LED's or colored lights or whatever in there to change the color. If my camera batteries arent' dead, I'll take some pictures of the dismantled piece. Unfortunately, I don't think I have any LED's laying around, although I may have some green light bulb cover thingies from an old Toyota laying around...... Dave
  7. Well, I ordered mine. ;D That's the one thing i hate on this car, that ugly orange! Dave
