Does the Conquest give an audible warning when the running lights are on, key off, and the door open?

I killed my battery today because I forgot the running lights were on  and went into work.

I don't believe so, neither of mine do. By running lights, i assume you mean the parking lights.

Yea,  I always called them that.  It is interesting that there is no warning for such an advanced car at the time.

I dont think mine chimes at all. I've already walked across the parking lot to look back at the car and see the parking lights are on.

Out of curiosity, why should it chime if the parking lights are on?

Wouldn't that kill the battery faster since parking lights are to be used when parked?

With my lights on and the key out of the ignition, it has a god awful eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sound. Kind of like dumb and dumber 'want to her the most annoying sound". Its really like that. lol

Also does it with just the fog lights.

My 86 conquest screams at me with park lights or head lights. It's definitely quite the noise.

Like I said "want to here the most annoying sound". Lol. It even kind of crackles/changes  like Jim Carey did.
