Wondering what the letter behind the compressor wheel means example 19"c" or 20"g"?

The wheels come with either all impellers the same shape/profile, or with them staggered where every other blade is shorter.  I don't recall which is which, but there are fundamental differences between some of these wheels beyond just diameter.

In the end, diameter is the most meaningful figure.  It is reported that the C wheels are more efficient at low boost levels compared to the G wheels.  Don't get a C wheel if you plan a lot of boost, and if you want to run modest boost levels, don't get a G wheel.

I have never seen any information on the 12A wheel to figure out the significance of the A wheel, but it's pretty clear by many that have tries various setups that the 12A is pretty useless above 15 PSI, it just makes more intake charge heat, not more power.  Same with the 14B, not much info on it

That's awesome, ok building up a na truck, sticking with about 7psi.

12a just seemed weak and the exhaust side choked bad

Dsm 14b right now, hits hard, but almost to hard

I have a small 16g and a 19c, just trimming to decide what to build next, timing it's a 19c, which I think sounds fun and retro

I'm running a 14g turbo right now. I have a low mile 19c turbo I'm wanting to try. Curious to see the difference.

i have not heard much about the 19C over the years on this site.
the one thing that seem to make the most noise is going to a TD06.
most people seem to like it a lot.

Yeah I am going td06sl2.

I feel the 19c has a wrap of being old technology, which I am ok with, my truck is pretty old any ways ha ha

But if the c wheels are for low boost it is better for me then a g wheel.

Kinda embarassing but I kinda dig it cause its the ralliart dakar turbo

Any one know any thing about the "t" wheels?  Look similar to g wheels
