  1. Sale pending, supposed to be picked up in the AM.
  2. It was only bid up to that the first time I put it on Ebay. I relisted it with a $5,800 buy it now and it sold for that.
  3. Car is sold, the new owner picked it up a couple weeks ago and drove it back to Connecticut. http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/Random/Starquest/FCC98795-C7BE-42BA-B32E-70EC3C7EE806.png.jpeg
  4. Still have it. Everybody wants it but no one come through.
  5. The car has been repainted, I believe the original color was Atlantic Blue. Is a shame that the color was changed but they did a great job, everything except the engine compartment was disassembled and jam bed properly. I'm guessing that they painted the engine compartment low gloss black to save prep time vs painting it red. I wasn't too concerned about it since its a daily driver and not a show car.
  6. Listed on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrysler-Other-TSi-/151646772511?forcerrptr=true&hash=item234eda1d1f&item=151646772511
  7. I need to buy/build an axle for my '66 C10 project so this needs to go. Make an offer.
  8. Don't worry, no harm done. It's a Thule rack, the axle was probably over the weight limit so I loaded it right on top of the feet instead of in the middle of the bars. Unfortunately it was dark by the time we had it loaded and headed home with it so we didn't get any reactions from other drivers. I was kinda dissapointed lol. I do drive around with a drift trike on my '64 VW's roof rack so I'm used to it. The truck project is close to rolling, just need to build the rear susupension. The local GM Truck Club is having a meet/autocross on May 23 so I'd like to have it rolling by then so I can trailer it to the show. Here's the full build if you're interested. http://67-72chevytru...ad.php?t=474456 Here's a shot of the front suspension. Has a rack and pinion swap, six piston 14.5" Brembo brakes from a CTS-V, lots of geometry mods, and will be on air ride so I can adjust the spring rate easily. Engine will be a LS2 or LS3 with CNC ported LS3 heads fed by an Inglese manifold with four Weber IDA carbs. I'd actually like to sell my two Conquest so I could throw more money at the truck project and get it running. http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/66%20C10/B5B8E11D-8F4D-4C18-A333-6C1B2E8F7F7A_1.jpg http://i1315.photobucket.com/albums/t599/andersonautoglass/Random/E20F4C3E-AE9B-4C6F-8791-16B02F635879-179-0000000543309E8C_zps6132b583.jpg
  9. Thanks!! There are two bolts that hold the bolsters onto the seat, take those bolts out and slot the holes in the bolster mounts. That lets the bolster slide closer into the seat. It really helps the looks of the seats. Yeah, gotta do what you gotta do!! I'm building a pro-touring '66 Chevy C10 for autocross and track events and I needed an axle to start building the rear three link suspension. So... I'm hauling parts with a sports car and autocrossing a truck... Yes, Nuts!! It was about a 25 mile trip, no problems hauling it up there. There were four guys to help load it so we didn't have any issues getting it up there safely, and I used the engine lift to unload it once I was home with it. I did make sure that it wasn't leaking brake fluid though!
  10. Been a while since I updated this. I've been driving the wheels off of it since September, my '64 VW broke a valve spring so the Conquest has been my daily since. It's up to 178K now, and has been extremely reliable over the last year and 17,000 miles. Never has left me stranded. I've made some improvements- added a perfect '87 steering wheel and radio control overlays from Natallica, modified the seats to close up the bolster gap, new Cooper RS3-A tires, and new slotted/drilled/zinc rotors with painted calipers. http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/Random/F533FBC1-973B-4EA2-8087-5B284C731199.jpg http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/Random/A63E0A70-081D-4D73-ADCB-F5BDA52A6896.jpg Bolster mod before/after. http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/Random/8499E29E-BCE8-477C-AFB7-1512EF194A99.jpg http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/Random/327C8EA4-CAAC-4FE4-BD4D-78B9893F9060.jpg New brakes. http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/Random/9A18B027-9514-43B6-9647-A19758800081.jpg http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/Random/08C202ED-49A4-44D6-ADCD-C83A02D95244.jpg I hit a HUGE rabbit one night going about 50 mph, and the air dam didn't fare too well. Spend a few weekends getting it pieced back together with bumper epoxy and stainless mesh. I never did like the black band around the bottom lip that a previous owner had added so that was taken care of too. http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/Random/A0F8C402-734E-4FE1-BA64-FEDAE0EAC375.jpg http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/Random/FF0D9A21-D981-4F4A-A577-CB2FBD762334.jpg The roof rack gets a work out occasionally. http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/Random/A8DF9355-2716-462D-9949-8D19EF25E018.jpg http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/theastronaut/Random/E5B59A62-52E2-449A-BD0F-ADD37DBA8FEE_1.jpg And a few random pics. 11. I decided to not sell it to you because: 1: You agreed to buy it and never made a lower offer than my asking price, but backed out when you found one cheaper. I pulled it out of storage and cleaned it up to send better pics. You never showed up. 2: Interior color is a personal preference. It wasn't a problem before when you had agreed to buy it... Why is it a problem now weeks later? 3: I don't sell to "Starions are better" elitist. I've seen your facebook posts. Why did you even contact me about buying a Conquest? 4: Easy fix, there are no chunks missing. I stated this in the ad and all pictures I have posted show this. I'm not hiding anything. 5: I can ask 10,000 dollars for it if I wanted to. It has obo on the end of the asking price. However it does not have "offer $700 less than the price we agreed on because I just bought a cheaper car." I'm sorry that it wasn't cheap enough so you could flip it for a "$500 buck profit" after you got it running.
