j.coulter
As I am new to this car, I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere to buy calipers that are not outrageous? I have an '88 Conquest. Thanks, Justin
dstar88
i got mine for free :-D drilled and slotted too..ill sell em to ya foooorr....500 bux hehe jk/ jk/ but on a serious note, someone on ebay sells the front and backs for the quest for like 275 or 295 bux or somethen like that. if you type in conquest and do a search on it they will pop up as you look for the pages, if you type in starion then you will the the ones for 375 and beyond., im not sure how good they are tho....maybe someone will chime in if they have had any experiance with them. 19cturbo
get them from advance.. lifetime warrenty, and comes with new caliper pins as well, $44.00 i believe with a $20.00 core, no probs from the ones i bought.. call around your area first and look for the cheapest price they do price match.. mike. MikeMeyerhoff
When you get them, I would pull the dust boot on the parking brake lever. One of the remans I bought came with rust chunks mixed into the new grease and the other one came with a couple small holes in the boot.
Wolf87Conquest
Most auto parts stores have them, or can order them...here in my area Napa is the most expensive...AutoZone almost equal with Rockauto.com. They all have websites you can check for what you need and offer money back on the cores. A lil time checking around online to compare price, core charge etc. should get the results you want. I've had good results getting parts, quality stuff too, from Rockauto.com and Rockville Mitsubishi. Rockville Mitsu pretty much carries OEM stuff or a direct replacement. It's up to you...check around the online catalogs on each place. Good luck
drifter87
I jus did a brake job on my car last Aug. I replaced the rotors calipers and pads on the front end for somewhere jus over 500 from napa. Lucky me, I get to spend 500 more to do the back end this summer!
