Showroom condition black 1989 SHP Conquest 5spd w/44k original miles. Everything is factory except the fluids/filters, tires, battery, and engine belts. It is a true time capsule.

Working on restoring a black 1988 Conquest automatic with 139k miles, tan interior, and in need of TLC. It will be my "driver".

I ended the auction early. A guy showed up to look at it before bidding and bought it for $15,450.

I keep telling people, these cars a worth more that they think. Your car was worth every penny, and in 5-10 years that car will bring low $20s in that condition. Congrats!!

Great to see this.  I really hope enough of these survive long enough for their rarity and coolness value to finally take effect financially.


Not like many of us will EVER make our money back on these (not that it was ever the point) but...


Higher value on SQ market is the ONLY way to prevent even more of them from being parted & scrapped each year.
Before: 352 rwhp @15psi; MPI: SDS EM5F; Chad intake & equal length header; S256 turbo (56/80comp-64/74ex); 48" of 2.5" IC piping
Now Done:  7.5:1 .35 Wiseco rebuild w/ crank scraper; 274 Magna roller cam & 1.55 rockers; mod port AMC head; 1mm>valves; Innovate WB; GM alt/rewired; 3" 240 alum radiator, elec fans; BMW X5 oil separator exh. crankcase vent; gas tank renewed; D2s; sway/strut bars; LT1 T56 clutch & trans swap w/ Fidanza; 4.22 rear; 265 Kumos on SHP rears; new steering pump/box/lines & coupler fix: http://www.starquest...howtopic=139558; full dash/console rewire - Autometer, push start, etc.

Its not....When you click the link now, it takes you to another "similar" listing, and that similar listing is a yellow conquest...

His car was blue...

EBAY is doing this stupid thing now where they kill the links to completed listings, and only show you similar items...
