  1. Just because a lot of guys have it doesn't mean it's ok. The scuffing that OP has right below the oil control ring indicates a problem that needs to be addressed. It is NOT normal. And what does my post count have to do with what I know??
  2. This is a lubrication or a heat issue. I would guess it was caused by lubrication in your case, since you said the oil looked like a milkshake. The coolant contamination killed the oil's viscocity, and it allowed the skirts to scrub on the cylinder walls at the point of maximum angle in the stroke.
  3. The only issue I can see in the logs is the poor battery voltage. 11.9 at idle is unacceptable. The way it happened was probably the strangest experience I've ever had with a car. I've built, tuned, and raced pretty much everything with wheels and never seen one act like this haha. It ran good on the dyno, idled for a total of probably at least an hour while there. We shut it off, disconnected the dyno and put the wheels on it. Sat it on the ground, and I got in and hooked the laptop back up and fired the car up. Started and idled perfectly. I shut it off after about 20 seconds and went to wash my hands. Mikie got in the car to back it out, and it went all to pieces. Ran stupid lean, I had to add 40 points to the VE map @ idle just to get the car to run. The only guess I have at this point - and it's grasping at straws - is that the voltage issues are screwing up the deadtime values for the injectors and causing the car to run lean. Based on the nature of the problem, I'm almost 100% certain it's an electrical issue.
  4. Good luck - with your mods, it should roll out on 28psi. If you need any help with the 'squirt, don't hesitate to ask.
  5. Hey guys, I'm Rob - Mike's tuner. I was pretty impressed with the numbers, but you can look at the dyno graph and tell that little 19c is just running out of breath haha - the turbine is way too small. You can see it in in the tq #'s that it's choking at about 4k. Like Mike said, we're looking at an HX-35 now - that'll free it up quite a bit and let it breath, and I don't think there's any reason the car can't make at least 350 - 400hp with it and another trip to the dyno.
