recently my 89 conquest developed alot of flop in the steering wheel...literally does nothing for 3 inches either way...front end seems tight so im guessing i need a steering box....i tried adjusting the set screw on the steering box but didnt change anyhing...anyone experience this before....thank you in advance

Yes, the coupler is worn out.    OEM are no longer available.

MKS Motorsports offers a direct replacement.

U  should rebuild the box while it out ............!!!!!!!!!!!!  EDELEMAN # 8745...........KEV the mod on here posted how to do it......
