  1. Tech. working on it today, new Bosch coil +TPS unit, waiting for Top End down pipe, b pipe and HKS exhaust to arrive to arrive.
  2. If it needs a mass air sensor, what are my options to get one? Although listed as available in the Mitsubishi parts catalog, dealer indicates it is discontinued. Any sources aftermarket or used? Thanks again guys!
  3. Once again, thank you one and all and will post when the issue is corrected. Meeting w/tech. today printed out posts and he is going to check some of the items indicated. Some he has already done to no avail. Ordered a downpipe today, will install when it arrives.
  4. WOW! Thanks for all these replys and will shoot the responses over to my guy tomorrow (car is still there). He is waiting for a TPS as well. Will advise further as this goes on, hopefully for not that much longer.
  5. Have a mint 35K all original 87 Conquest, I'm second owner (couple of you guys have seen it). It is all stock. Needed fuel pump replacement, new fuel screen, new fuel filter (by engine), injectors cleaned. Car runs very well at idle, while on road after a few minutes of driving, as the rpms build, the car is feels like it's running out of fuel. As you get off the gas, responds better. This condition gets worse the longer you drive. It doesn't exhibit this when just coming out of the garage (engine cold, but warm ambient air temp. Anybody have any ideas on this. The check engine light is not on and the car idles well, all fans /gauges show fine. Very frustrated as is my mechanic who was trained in these cars @ Chrysler back in the day. Been going on a month now.
  6. What mods are necessary to mate this to the stock turbo? Looked at the other one on Ebay with the flex pipe, and stated it requires drilling new holes to mate to stock exhaust. Looking to maybe install the TEP "b" pipe and have an N.O.S. HKS exhaust I'd like to install at the same time. Any thoughts or advise on this swap guys?
  7. I disagree. When you have a shop that specializes in a particular vehicle there is the possibility that you have to pay extra for their expertise. I have ordered from them for a number of years (like 20) for both my Ram 50 and my Conquest. Had a problem with the Weber for my truck and Steve the owner made it right immediately. Have ordered stuff for the Quest as well, no issues. Only my experience I'm speaking of.
  8. The research I did was that these (for a number of imports) were sourced by Auburn from the OEM manufacturer in Japan. They are new in the Auburn box and after the sale, were renamed Power Brute. I called the company and at the time of the group buy they had about 30. They're as is, there are no replacement parts available. If there is a group buy, we can buy direct from the company otherwise they will designate a dealer they could be purchased from online. I bought 2 they seem to of excellent quality. I haven't installed it yet, but the guys who have, nothing negative about the product. If anyone knows a owner with a V6 Montero / Raider, if I recall, they had 2 of those units left. They also a several other makes on the shelf too.
  9. I'm not into a lot of the diff. swapping stuff, but thought this might be of interest / help. I also have a 1987 Ram 50 4X4 and did an exhaustive search for a LSD. I hit paydirt a few months ago when I tracked down a Power Brute lsd that was a fitment for the Ram 50 4X4 (4 cyl) rear diff. I located the supplier that bought the inventory of Auburn Gear and they had about 30 of the LSD units in their warehouse. They were actually JDM manufactured by the same supplier to Mitsu. We did a group buy at the Ram 50 site which was successful. If anyone is interested, pm or email me and I'll fill in the details or if this is a fitment for our cars, I can hit the rep again for a group buy. Note: I believe they will it the Raider(4 cyl.) too.
  10. I'm in, email me as well when you need the deposit $$ waltk@Carolina.rr.com. Nice piece kudos to everyone involved.
  11. I would contact them before I ordered to ensure they have a fitment for our cars. I dealt with a company a couple years ago in Canada who had the Starquest listed on their site but in fact it was an old posting that was not updated and the part was unavailable. The guy was super nice and checked severeal suppliers to see how many would be necessary in a run to do a special build for us but it did not materialize.
  12. I have interest as well.If you are getting a shipping quote, please include 28056, Gastonia, N.C. (just outside Charlotte but different Zip). Thanks!
  13. Sent you a PM on the brace. Hope we have a deal!
