randy
Nice work what color red you plan on painting it.
cheesey
I haven't figured that out yet. I was thinking of painting it something other than red. There are sooo many red ones. But I know that means pulling the motor sometime which I'm up in the air about. I was thinking of yellow blaze tri coat metallic. But it may be a gazillion dollars just in paint. I did like the deep red that it was so maybe i'd go with a candy apple red.

cheesey
Not with convette around haha. you could always repaint the engine bay later right?Didn't take long for convette to creep into the tread. Ha ha ha. My buddies is red as well and I kind of want something different than red. I could always respray engine bay later I'm sure it would bug the bejesus out of me though for a while having a Ronald McDonald car.
dukaine
nice, I thought about changing mine to something other than white myself. I really liked the silver i had on my wrx. But I am not sure if that will happen. I dont mind white too much. My engine bay had been painted silver anyway.

Pictures don't do it justice. $.
psu_Crash
Nice work so far!I agree, there are already plenty of red SQs out there. How about green? I only know of one other
speedyquest
How about primer grey? hahaha
cheesey
How about primer grey? hahahaHey then it would match the hood! I'm thinking I'm going to go with school bus yellow from the newer mustangs. Not too bright but not too dull either. I got most of it stripped down. Needs a little more sanding and bodywork. Been too cold lately so I haven't touched it since Saturday. I'm getting the shakes.
needsq
Agreed there are a lot red ones. I went from yellow to blue and removed parts of the interior. The yellow that showed through was irritating. I ended up having it painted black on the inside.

cheesey
I think so I spent my one day off milling it over. It was down between rally red metallic from an evo and chrome yellow from a mustang. Came down to too many red ones out there, and I've had a red car before. It's kind of funny that it started life as a rio red auto and will die a manual yellow car. It's not a pure car by any means so ohh well to numbers matching. The engine bay will still be red just due to the fact I want to drive it this spring and limited space in my garage. Maybe it will be next winter's project. It's going off to the body shop as soon as I have time to get it there.
cheesey
http://i867.photobucket.com/albums/ab231/Cheesey_50/DSCF08132_zpsdf86aab3.jpg Well haven't done much lately. Been working a ton at work. 24 out of 25 days most of them 12hr shifts. But my first day off my friend helped me get it over to the body shop. So I'm hoping in a couple weeks to have updates. Hopefully he can work some magic and make it look nice again. Edited February 16, 2015 by cheesey
