So I was nosing around on 26liter.us and found this. Pics of my first Love, MPI Starion that is.

Not sure why these pics. are all in this member's album; these were the same ones used in my SQC 4 sale ad. Car was sold to a guy name Rudy in New Jersey. I was going abroad for a year, couldn't keep it.

Just a break down of the major mods:

Magna Intake, modded by yours truly.

Forged 7:1 .30 pistons

Schneider 284h

680cc injectors.

Garrett T3/T4 57mm turbo

3" exhaust, Apexi N1 muffler

ST springs, KYB struts

Diehard strut bars.

Fuelinjectionpro ECU.

FUSO truck intercooler

CraneCams 6 series ingnition.

Car made 354 whp and 410 lb/ft torque. @22 psi

I was rocking the Bronze painted/polished wheels long before... :D

Very, very nice build man , where iz the car now ?

Thanks man. The car is in New Jersey. Last I heard from the new owner, he had plans to do a satin black paint job. I did offer to buy it back when I returned to the States but he declined; I totally understand. Its been about 5 years, haven't seen or heard about the car since.

Very nice and good numbers for back then .

sure was blast to drive.

And Diamond plate! Way cool.

cheap, effective heat shield :)

Did you have some red piping on that car when you still rocked TBI?

i see shades of Zactek on the heat shield

Yes, it had red piping at first. The throttle body was also clocked facing forward to the outlet of my Fuso intercooler. It was a TBI, TD06 20g car before I did forged pistons, MPI, ect.

I built this motor about 2 1/2 years before Zack's rebuild just to give you an idea. S&S speed shop built a .20 cast piston block for him. His was powered by TB pro and a mallory ignition box. We spent some cold winter mornings at my place fine tuning his car as well as others under the hood. The heat shield on my car was made of stainless diamond plate, his was aluminum I believe. We go way back...

Andy worked on Mike's 89 Conquest...I've met him before. I knew many SQ owners from the 5 Boroughs. We had many meets at my place, Floyd Bennett Field, Canarsie Pier, the races...those were good times.

S&S out on sunrise highway?

No, S&S Speed Shop on Atlantic Ave. Not sure if they are still there.
