Never re-installed before. Do you guys put the white clips on the cowl then snap into place, or do you put the clips in the car and snap in the cowl? Or, does it not matter. I know these clips break easy and so do the cowls, so I don't want to screw up. TIA.

It shouldn't matter, but I prefer to put the clips on the cowls first

I put my clips in the metal first but make a couple of test runs to make sure your cowl sockets are lining up with the clips.

After looking at it, I see there's a notch in the white clips so they can only go on one way. That being said, I think it makes the most sense to install them on the cowl first.

Ok, I was overly nervous about this.  They snapped in like legos.  No problems :D
