DRFTQUEST
I am using an OEM precat. I need to plug the hole where the smog pipe goes into. I don't have any of the old piping. vbrad511
Where the secondary air tube connects? Guys talk about putting a couple quarters in it and using the original nut from the tube.

ucw458
Yup, a quarter and the nut from the pipe. Alot cheaper than buying something. IF you plan on never using it you can just weld it up. I welded it closed on one of my cars and after grinding it smooth it looked like meatwad. http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/qq352/ucw458/Starquest%20saves/PIC_0831.jpg Since you're in CA it would be better to weld it. Smog techs may fail you on visual using the quarter method because it looks like something is supposed to be there.
